Until Monday, some Bioshock (original game only, not infinite) items at the Irrational Games Store online will be 50% off. This includes the Bioshock Ultimate Rapture edition gamepack for $15. That makes it $17.00 after shipping.

https://store.irrationalgames.com/Category.aspx?c=Bioshock

The offer is only applicable to goods from the Rapture games of Bioshock though for anyone looking at a shirt or something.

It's misleading to state "all bioshock items... will be 50% off".

There are honestly like a dozen items total and it is nothing noteworthy except this game. It only includes a few older T-Shirts, A few older hats and a few of the most boring prints.

Alright I changed it to a few. When saying Bioshock I meant the original game not Infinite.

Thanks OP! Might pick up the 360 version after I get paid later this week.

Thanks! Shipping is $1.99 (cheapest) and also tax IS included. Just FYI to people wondering, since I was curious myself.

Also, PayPal is accepted.

I wonder how they ship things? This item would probably incur some damage if sent in a padded envelope, so I'm a bit iffy about ordering from them.

Love these two games.  For the big BioShock fans, don't forget about the exclusive bonus museum level.  Its not very impressive and you can see everything there is to see in about 15 minutes, but its neat to see some of the different ideas they played around with.  Would have been nicer if they would have added some movement and sound to the exhibits, but most of them didn't make it very far in development.

If the Xbox one was in stock I jump all over this.  Was waiting for this to drop to about this price, since all I'm getting it for is to have the DLC on disc.  Maybe Amazon might match it hopefully.

I bought Bioshock 1 for $4 (GameStop) and Bioshock 2 CE for $5 (Best Buy) years ago... where have you all been?
If those prices are right (Bioshock is $15 at GS now and Bioshock 2 is $10 at BB now) If you wanted to have the same stuff as you get in this pack I believe you'd have to spend at least $25 on just the Bioshock 2 DLC. So this is still a better deal.

And it also includes the DLC for the first game on both versions, previously exclusive to PS3. You get a lot more with this package than just the base games.

I ship everything I sell from eBay in padded envelopes, and I have never received negative feedback. It's a pretty good method.

Thanks!  Would have preferred Xbox version but PS3 should be just the same.  I take it this is a reliable site?  Used Paypal just incase..

Many people simply aren't fussy about minor-ish cosmetic damage. It's also different for 'boxed' items; the need a rigid box to protect them from creases or crunches--no mater how minor. Any pressure goes directly onto the item and cardboard boxed items are super prone to creasing and cosmetic damage like that. For items in normal cases, it's totally cool. But don't you ever poke your head into any threads for boxed CEs? There's always a billion posts of bitching about amazon and newegg shipping in padded envelopes and the damage that ensues.

No, its a pretty cheap method. FWIW I've had many instances where games were damaged that were shipped in envelopes. Its not uncommon and many people will tell you the same. By all means, if its working out for you then great but its risky.

The negative about this collection (ps3 version at least) is that you have to have 20 gigs of free hard drive space to install everything.  Assuming you can play off the disc on the 360 version, I'll probably eventually get that version instead.

Not to drag out this side conversation, but when I ship in a padded envelope, I always put in a cardboard cutout that is the size of the item I am shipping for added support ;)

360 version only requires about 6 GBs for DLC, the games are regular discs.
