Newegg/Ebay Playstation Vita Launch Bundle wifi/3g with 8gb card $199

If it's a launch bundle that means the battery has been sitting on it's original charge since Feb 2012.

Is that bad?
A little bit. I'm guessing the battery may hold less of a charge, so for each charge you get less gaming time. And the battery won't last as long:

  • Lithium-ion batteries age. They only last two to three years, even if they are sitting on a shelf unused. So do not "avoid using" the battery with the thought that the battery pack will last five years. It won't. Also, if you are buying a new battery pack, you want to make sure it really is new. If it has been sitting on a shelf in the store for a year, it won't last very long. Manufacturing dates are important.

Wow thats probably the best. Im assuming the Walking Dead is a download code for the game? So Instead you get Unit 13, 4GB Memory card, year of PS+, media stand over the Walking Dead, 4GB card. You are getting probably 20-30 more value with this Walmart bundle

Yup,this is even better if you have a ps3 or planning on purchasing a ps4.

They last more than 2-3 years, 2-3 years the capacity gets reduced, prob around 80% of original capacity.

Agreed, though if the battery is cheap to begin with it may not even last 2-3 years. I've had cheap ass 360 controller batteries last a year for new one, and another one I bought after it sat on a shelf new for years only lasted a week. That info was from a website.
