Interesting, if that's applicable to everyone and you didn't have to subscribe for more than one month that's worth it. Any chance you can link to where the email takes you since I didn't get such an email. Curious to see if it works for anyone and what the terms and conditions are.

Edit- Looks like it should work for anyone and get you Super Stardust as well as Smart As and 3 months if it's your first time signing up. Here's the fine print:

Free game requires purchase of a qualifying DataConnect Pass Plan for one month. Offer available to U.S. citizens 18 years and older.
So requires the $15 plan, not the $10 mobile share, but with the three months and the two games that's still probably worth it.

I'm sure it probably won't, but it would be nice if this deal created a few cheap Smart As... codes floating around the trade thread.

I think the price of one month of 3G on Vita was around $15. It still translates as a cheaper 3-Month Plus deal with Smart As as a bonus.

I've been looking around for Smart As, may as well get 3 months of plus with it.  I'm already signed up until 2017 already, gonna try to hit 2020 by the end of next year, lol.

Don't do it. At&T is horrible. They will auto renew the data plan and won't cancel on time. They will conveniently lose any record of canceling the service. It's seriously not worth the hassle.

For what it's worth, I had no issue cancelling or w/e when they ran a similar promo at launch for SSHD Delta. You can do it right through the Vita.

I see this being a way that they might get two months out of you as they wait 30 days after your activation to give you SSD and they do not describe when you would get the other content. If you cancel at or around the 30th day to avoid a second month charge, they may say you do not qualify or you may have a long dispute with them. Also, how reliable are they to ensure you get the codes on the 30th day? Has anyone done this with previous AT&T offers? Also, when does the other items like PS+,  Smart As and the other game kick in?

Btw, how do you figure out when your Plus expires? I signed up for two years worth, but I can't remember when I started now and wanted to confirm my expiration date. Thanks!

Regarding the deal, $14.99 for 2 games and 3 months of plus sounds like a decent deal, seeing as how I'm going to get a Ps4 anyway and could use some Extra Ps Plus. Thanks OP.

Accidentally got the 6 month plan for 25 then realized it'snnot eligible for the free games and plus. Spent an hour on the phone but somehow got them to cancel the plan and refund my money, and apparently they gave me a free year of data. Very confused what just happened.

Go under account management. Then check through the Service List and find PS+. Just select it and it'll show start and stop of subscription.

Also make sure you turnoff they automatic renewal under this section.

Has anyone received a code for the 3 months of plus or smart as? I called up AT&T, and they had no idea what I was talking about . They had me call Sony, but Sony said that AT&T is responsible for giving out the voucher.

I haven't either, and I'm glad you asked because I haven't read anything else on the net where people got anything for this. My subscription has been up for 3 days. Granted, stuff like this can sometimes take WEEKS, but now that it's all over and settled, my call to Sony or ATT would go exactly the same "what are you talking about?"

Yeah, pretty weird. I called up AT&T hoping to get a different person to help me out. Same thing, lady was clueless. The lady actually called Sony up while I was on the line, and had me talk to them. The dude from PS who took over the call didn't even know of the promo. He had to do a quick google search ( lolol) to find out what I was talking about. After putting me on hold for a bit, he said that since the promo just ended, it may take a few days before the vouchers are sent out. He wasn't sure when though. It's lame because when I first got my vita, I signed up to get SSDD, and not even 30 days after I used up my data, I decided to call up ATT and tell them I never got a code. The guy was really nice, and told me that he'd make sure I got it. Three days later, I got an email from Sony with a voucher.

Could someone post the actual email for this? Might help to get this thing sorted out.
I don't actually have an email, I just clicked on the link from the op. Unfortunately though, since the promo ended, the 3 months of plus and Smart As no longer show up as bonuses. It's just Super stardust now, and it looks like anyone who activates the 3g for the first time gets the game. It's no longer a limited time thing now it seems.

Same here, I just clicked the original link which has now changed to remove all mention of this promo ever occurring.

On the phone with AT&T and nobody has any idea what to do? I am calling Sony now and using this link as proof that I signed up before the promotion was taken down as I was already charged. This is ridiculous how this AT&T/Sony partnership has nobody accepting accountability or knowledge of the promotion. It is bait and switch.

Yeah,I was already charged..I'd be pretty pissed if I don't end up getting a code for plus.
I was charged almost immediately, proceeded to use the pointless 3G connection for 30 days, and nothing followed. Data plan ended, no emails, no vouchers, notifications, nothing. This is why I try not to trust these very limited audience type promotions (few vitas out there, even fewer people interested in 3G), because they can not follow up and nobody will really care.

Just so I know what I am asking for with AT&T. Does this mean we should get 3 games: Super Stardust and DLC, a Bonus Game and Smart As in addition to 3 months PS+ or just SSD HD and Smart As? I read it as 3 games and 3 months of PS+ the way it is worded.

AT&T created a ticket for me and they will forward it to promotions when they are back in the office on Monday. If it all goes well, I will let everyone know what happens and try to provide the info.

Thanks, I will call them after you give us an update.

supera187 is correct. Any luck?
I just called Sony and they said they won't honor the promotion because they can't find information about it nor is it the current promotion. Since the current promotion if just a copy of Super Stardust, he was about to email a code for that until his supervisor told him that it is AT&T that is suppose to be sending out those emails with the promotion codes.

Wow, really? That's lame. The two Sony reps I talked to did a google search and found out what I was talking about. The only thing with that was that they didn't know when exactly the codes would be sent out, if they'd be sent out at all. I think if they get enough call from a few of us, they might do something about it. This is freaking ridiculous.

I guess I'll never buy another Dataconnet session again. Unfreaking believable. Att says Sony should send the code. I talk to Sony and they say Att should send the code. Att calls up Sony for me to talk to a rep, and the rep says to wait a few more days since they don't have that much info...I guess no one is getting any codes.

When I logged into my AT&T from the Vita, I got this number to contact them 1 (800) 331-0500. I talked to one gentleman who took my information down from email address, phone number tied to the Vita, etc...

He then transferred me to an actual person that works strictly for Sony issues in regards to AT&T as they have a small department of representatives. She wanted my vita serial number on the bottom of your Vita or is on the Vita box if you cannot read the serial number on the system. She then verified my history and activation date to see if I was eligible. She went to the Sony page and did not see this promotion and only saw the SSD one. I told the last if the promotion was from 8/26 - 9/22, then why would Sony keep an expired deal on their site for 2 weeks? I said it would be exactly if AT&T had offered a $100 gift card if you ordered Uverse. AT&T would have the promotion off the page the minute it expired. She agreed and looked through her emails and database for old promotions and saw it. She copied the promotion down with all of my information and gave me a ticket number for reference.

The promotion department only works M-F so they could not give resolve this yesterday. When I am on the phone with them, I will ask them to please research this deal as a lot of people that started a new data contract are upset and will drop the service if they don't honor this promotion that was up for less than month. The people that signed up during this period did so only because the deal was so good but won't renew with AT&T now due to this bad experience. I won't mention that I plan to cancel the service as soon as I redeem everything though as the service is lousy and I used it twice during the month. LOL

Accidentally got the 6 month plan for 25 then realized it'snnot eligible for the free games and plus. Spent an hour on the phone but somehow got them to cancel the plan and refund my money, and apparently they gave me a free year of data. Very confused what just happened.
Why do you think the 6 month plan is ineligible? To me it reads you must keep a plan for one month.

Well, it took dang near forever, but after a lengthy call with ATT support, we conferenced in Playstation, and I spoke with a helpful gentleman from Vita support who stated that we can expect the offer to be fulfilled 4-6 weeks after the conditions have been met (ex. from the day your one month prepaid dataconnect plan is up, or what have you) Also, he stated that if you don't get the promo codes to your e-mail address on file by that time, to contact Vita support for follow up. Hope this helps, I'm sure we're all going to be watching our inboxes over the next few weeks in acticipation.

nevermore, thanks for clarifying on this and looking into it. To think this could have been avoided if they had just written that in the fine print with the promotion. People expect offers like this to take weeks for redemption, but it said nothing of the sort.

Now the challenge for me will be remembering that this all happened sometime in late november :)

Thanks man for such a helpful post.

I got the same info but I was not sure about one thing. My one month charge happened on 10/2/13 and I know I fulfilled the obligation, but I really want to cancel the service as it is ridiculously slow and bad for the $15 a month. If I drop now and I already fulfilled the one month data service, will I still get the code. Does anyone know from previous experience that they will honor this on their end? I don't want to be charged for another month just to assure I get my promotion as I don't want them to be like screw this customer as they no longer have our service so we don't care.

Not sure if this will help anyone (I hope it does), but I just got an email from Playstation with the subject line - Here are your free PS Vita games and 3 Month Playstation Plus membership from AT&T DataConnect Session. So maybe they should be going out now for some people.

Guys! Check your emails! I finally got my promotion games and 3 months of PS+. The email is from [email protected]. I guess we finally complained enough.
I got one as well, with everything included that they said would be. Big thanks to anyone who called or let them know, just in case this was your doing to bring it to their attention. Very satisfied.

Ordered the 6 month, 500MB for $25 deal on 9/18. Got the 3 codes yesterday.

Very pleased with AT&T and the Vita's 3G/H reception in my area. I will be renewing again promo or not.

Is this the first time anyone signed up for the 3g service and received a code by any chance, or have some of you guys activated it prior to the promo? I got off the phone with Sony today, and they gave me the run-around yet again. Guess no code for me..

Try AT&T.

Well, unfortunately, no code for me. Got off a lengthy conversation with both Sony and AT&T. The supervisor at Att said I should have received an email automatically with the voucher by now. Oh well. To make it up to me, they gave me a free month of data.

It was mentioned in this very post and I confirmed as well that this will be sent later. I talked to an actual Sony supervisor that knows something and he told me that AT&T and even 1st tier Sony reps are not knowledgeable to these promotions. AT&T did this deal from 8/26 - 9/22 and he said that AT&T mails out codes in groups about a month after the deal ends to the email. So the people that took advantage of this deal immediately will get it first and the groups may be broken down to batches that go from week to week and that is how it will be emailed out. So if you got it on 9/22, you will be at the very end. He said this is something that does not get mentioned but it worked this way during the initial launch of the PS Vita with $55 of free stuff to include Super Stardust when you activated data plan from AT&T. I guess we will start to see codes in about two weeks being sent to the first group of customers.
