That's what I was wondering. If I need to buy a $150 headset anyway I would be super tempted to buy this one and then snag Beyond Two Souls for $10 more. But I'd only want to get it if I could use it on my PS4 next month. (Holy shit it's next month.)
 
The PS4 will support PS3 official headsets. I have the $100 sony wireless version (not the pulse) and it is, other than a wanting battery life, excellent. 

 
Good luck with that trade 3. Taking away the gaming section counter was the-most-stupidesterest thing they could do. Have people trading in at CS while a line backs up. I'll be shocked if their system does the multiple 3/10, for each set, in 1 transaction. I'll wait for the stories before I try it.

Some tempting deals there, but I'll more than likely hold out for better. Also interested in this trade in deal, wonder how that will turn out. Thanks for sharing OP.

 
So I did some reserach on the headset and it's basically $120-$130 everywhere else online. That said, you're still getting the headset and Beyond Two Souls for $160 it seems, so, you're still getting $10-20 off the game but it's not quite as good of a deal as it seemed initially. Since I assume that Best Buy won't price match and still do the deal? Maybe they will. I've never price matched anyone before so who knows.

PM'ing may work. Generally Best Buy's POS will look for two SKU's and apply a package promo after the CSR totals out the transaction, which is why it was possible to PM games to Amazon and still receive a $50 GC during the "Buy Two Qualifying Games, Receive $50 GC" promo a few months back.

Since this is a discount rather than a GC offer, it may work differently. But it's worth trying. Definitely YMMV since manager not be willing to PM and let the promo stack.

[I recommend PM'ing the Elites first and hoping the manager walks off after approving override, doesn't see the promos stack. In my experience, CSR's usually don't care and just say "wow, what a deal!" while managers get all huffy about double dipping.]
 
On a side note about best buy. In my email today I received three invitations to upgrade anyone to elite status with their new reward program. Doesn't specify how long the upgrade lasts. I am curious who else received the email. After the switch I was moved from silver to elite plus. I'm guessing all silvers were moved to plus and if that's the qualification (I'm not sure only speculating) there ought to be tons of these invitations out there.

God I'm such a like pussy though about that sort of thing, though. But from the reviews I've seen for the headphones it might actually be worth it so... I might give it a go.

I have the Elites and love 'em. They sound is as good as TB's or Astros that cost $100 more. The side tone is a bit quiet and that may impact your perception if you do a lot of multiplayer gaming. I mostly use them to watch movies and plow through single player campaigns without disturbing the wide and kids, so it's not a problem for me.

The pulse is actually a bit annoying in games IMO, but at low levels it kicks up the bass and gives some extra pop to action movies, etc.
 
Judging by the way the local target is selling out of the reserve cards I doubt they need to have a deal for this, I just hope they have enough copies to last until I get there since waking up for an 8 am launch is quite unappealing. They keep restocking the reserve cards, but I assume this is normal. It seems unlikely that a retail store would get hundreds of copies of one game but I guess its possible, because they have obviously gone through hundreds of reserve cards. Also I checked multiple times for the pins and my target does not have the card with the pins and has probably never stocked it, I am there every week so I know. is there any way to get the pin even if I have a card that does not have the pin?

Where is a leaked listed already....????

1000s of titles would have to include low value games. If I can trade in all the games I still have left that are a 1$ and get 10 for them, I will be left with only very few games still.

Heres hoping Kinect adventures is involved in this.... :whistle2:
