Don't preorder from bestbuy.com they don't price match them

 
 
Hey CAG members, check this out:
 
I preorder the PS3+GTA5 bundle on the 8/25/13 and on release day 9/17/13 it was billed my credit card on that day. well it just so happens that a few days after released day, Microcenter is selling that bundle for $250, $20 less than BBY. I call up BBY to price match it and they told me that since I ordered it on the 8/25/13 that was  out of the 14 day price match policy and would not honor it. I told them that game just came out on 9/17 and it was actually billed on the day it came out but the lady kept on repeating their policy and not price match it. Well you know what that means, I'm going back to amazon for my pre-orders at least they don't screw me over. 
 
Many of you guys wouldn't care but think about this especially a lot of games are coming out Q4 for holiday, Let say I preorder a BF4 right now on bestbuy and a week later after it comes out amazon pushes a overstock deal like maybe 5% off to sell off extra copies. Well wouldn't that pissed you off that you couldn't do a price match from bestbuy
 
I'm planning to just suck it up and not let this ruin my GTA5 experience. I had thought about returning my ps3 bundle and picking it up at microcenter (they are both locally in my city) but then the nightmares i would have to go through to return a open game + open ps3. 
 
P.s. the super slim ps3 makes too dam nosie! my phat ps3 is much quieter and the new controller feels cheap not like the old ones.

Amazon wouldn't of price matched Micro Center either.

And you're wrong about BB PM Policy; they only PM other retailers at the TIME of purchase---that 14 day window applies to price adjustments from BB regarding purchases made at Best Buy.

I know amazon don't price match but the only reason why i ordered though BB was that they had the $269 deal first otherwise i would've order through amazon and at least got it on release day. (didn't get it the bundle until the 9/18 plus BBY also charge me for shipping inwhich they weren't suppose to but after 1hr and half wait I got that fixed)

I did talked to two customer service rep and both of them declined it. After a quick GTA5 missions I'm back to normal

I guess so but if you read their PM policy, it does state that they will PM 14 day it was purchased and officially it was bought(as in paid in full) on 9/17 not 8/25.

Why didn't you just return it and re-buy it w/ the price match?  If you already open it... Buy a new one w/ the price match and use the original receipt to return it.

That is bad advice. Anything with a serial number is tracked; he would not be able to return the second console on the first receipt because the serial numbers would not match up.
