Free Gold dont work, why?

I use the link - click.engage.xbox.com/?qs=94fc999449e39431eaa46da00917c6b71487adbaaa9b7c4e1936ced5a88438b10de5d0ff3b4d2543 - to have 1 month free gold. but the promo does not work anymore, someone can tell me the reason? or any solution?

People seem to have been banned for abusing it, they also patched up the links I think. Either way best method would probably to find deals on it.

 
Its all dead. I never got to use either. I felt pretty stupid buying a year of gold then figuring out I could have got a few months free. My gold finally died and this promotion is dead as well.

I only am getting one month from it, because that seems to be the "limit" they want you to use it for. Now I'm good until November 12th!
