Cheap tablet/android device that plays candy crush saga/angry birds

Hi.
I need some advice for a tablet or device that can play apps. Its for a older relative who got hooked on playing apps when I let them use my old ipod touch gen 2. Unfortunately it is not supported with the latest apps and they cant play new stuff like candy crush.

I dont know much about these devices. I was looking at the new kindle fire but then realize that does not play candy crush.

I was then looking at this "thing" at walmart for $99

That looks like it would suit them well. All the cheaper android tablets seem to be roughly the same build quality. It won't look and feel like a galaxy tab or a nexus but it will play those games just fine.
