Nintendo DSi XL Ultimate Value Bundle w/ Travel Case and Choice of 2 Games

Okay deal, but you would be better off just getting a 3DS XL.

Many places still have the X and Y versions.

These routinely hit $160 dollars.

The DS is dead (more or less), so you would be paying $50 more for a current console that can play DS games.

The only "good" games are Layton and Golden Sun.

The XL is limited to Blue or Pink.

 
$110?  Damn that's good.  Particularly since in bundles like this in the past, you could return the games for a portion of the bundle price.  I don't need a DSi XL but am super tempted.

 
If it were between a normal 3DS and this I'd say go for it. But they pretty much resolved the DS scaling issue with the 3DS XL so I'd spend the extra and go with that.

I agree 100% but the XL doesn't routinely hit $159.99; I think it has three times (twice at Target and once at BB) since being released. Sales on the hardware seems to come in spurts. It seems like everyone will have it on sale over a three week period and then nothing for 1-2 months. then rinse and repeat.
