Says stardew valley added additional controller support. Anyone know if it's shield compatible now if you sideload it?
I sideloaded it to my Razer Forge TV which is another (discontinued) Android TV device recently, and it worked with a mouse plugged in, but not with the controller. I will try to sideload it to my Shield TV later today to see if it has controller support. I'll post again either way.

I just tried it on my Shield TV, and it would not work with the controller. Mouse input does work. It probably only works with a controller on other Android devices such as a Chromebook. I have a feeling that the publisher thinks that they will miss out on money on the Switch by making it compatible with Android TV, or they just don't care about Android TV. One or the other.

Yeah, Ducktales Remastered is actually a good game. And a damn sight better than that abomination of a remake cartoon they show on Disney XD. But if you don't have it, you can still buy a physical disc of the game for PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360. So, it won't be gone forever. It just can't be purchased digitally.

Anyone have opinions on sproggiwood? I've heard about it, just don't know if it's good for someone who doesn't like action games with on-screen dpads?
Sproggiwood is actually a really great game. And it's not an action game. It's a roguelike grid-based RPG where you play as one of three classes and battle evil woodland creatures. You should be able to play it with the touchscreen on your phone or tablet. After I bought it the last time that it was on sale, I sideloaded it to my Shield TV and was able to play it with a mouse attached. It does not have controller support. But, I would definitely say that it's worth $1.
