XBox 360

CAGiversary!
Hello,

I had an XBox 360 that got damaged and won't work since the move from Taiwan back to the US.  I don't want to get an Xbox One at launch.  I would rather wait till Spring.  I have my 250gb hard drive so what is the best for me; buy a refurbished old xbox 360 from gamestop or but a new Xbox 360 S and transfer from my old hard drive to the new hard drive?

I'd buy a 4gb slim, new or used, and use the hard drive you have.  To get the hard drive out of the casing, assuming it looks like this one, here's a tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIrqC3RQt5c

Then, buy a slim hard drive shell for a few bucks off of amazon - http://www.amazon.com/Hard-Drive-Enclosure-Xbox-360-Included/dp/B004YV9TSA and use your existing hard drive in the 4gb.  You'd probably have to do a license transfer from there but I think that's the easiest and best solution.  I've done it myself.
