Probably a sign that amazon wants to get in on the Zelda 3DS XL bundle for BF, and so Nintendo is making them stock the other systems as well.

This is great news. Hopefully, this means they will start carrying Wii U bundles, and more specifically, Mario & Luigi bundle when it's released. I have PS4 pre-order paid in full on Amazon, but I am super tempted to cancel my PS4 pre-order after the delay of Watch Dogs, and just buy PS4 later next year, and apply my credit to the Wii U, instead.

Still no 2DS or Wii U.  We still have to see if this is a one time thing or amazon and Nintendo finally made up.

I hope they end up stocking all of the hardware. I want a Wii U but I will only buy from Amazon since I have a crap-ton of gift card balance.

Nice, been hoping they'd eventually start selling them again. Hopefully there's another $179 sale like 2 weeks ago @ BB (which I completely missed).

Anyone else passing on the Zelda 3DS XL because it comes with a digital copy of the game? I'd much rather have an actual copy of the game.

The Zelda 3DS is pretty tacky looking and I've already played OoT. That's why I'm passing on it, anyway. Hope to see some deals on the other XL models.

do they sell wii Us as well or was amazons and nintendos little issue only effected the 3ds? either way i hope this means amazon will have some awesome deals for the wii u during black friday. fingers crossed for a wii u bundle with either disney infinity or super mario 3d world(first is more likely than the second but i can hope :D)

No 3DS and was planning to get a bundle someday. Maybe there will be added goodies like the BF Assassin's Creed Vita deal.

Goes hand and hand with them wanting to be profitable. Raised super saver requirements, made addons not apply to the total required on prime, etc etc. Now they are stocking Nintendo items, because they are doubling down on trying to make a profit. Good for them, though they likely will start to bleed sales, but that just comes with making a profit.

Same here. The Wii U has games I want to play now, versus the PS4 which won't have anything I really want to play at launch.

i was about to come here and post this craziness.

this is awesome news.. hopefully they start getting some of the limited edition consoles

I think this is the result of Gamestop abusing their relationship with nintendo and nintendo not having many other options
Please provide evidence of this alleged abuse that isn't just speculation. Nintendo seems perfectly happy to keep giving Gamestop exclusives. Also, Amazon was the one that terminated the relationship on the hardware, not Nintendo, so it follows that this was Amazon's choice, not Nintendo..

there is lots of proof including the zelda exclusive that they overcharged by $5 and selling xenoblade wii for 2x the retail price? You think nintendo would be happy with that?

plus it doesn't matter who terminated the relationship, nintendo easily could have went to amazon doing everything to try to get amazon to take them back.

Not that I disagree with what you are saying, but how do you know that Nintendo is upset about either of those things you mention? It's easy to blame GS but Nintendo could easily be aware of that beforehand. Was something posted or mentioned somewhere?

why would they be happy about it? If nintendo was ok with ripping off customers why do they only do it through gamestop and not other stores as well? I don't think nintendo would risk their nice image on making a few bucks from customers.

Nintendo set the price as $55 for the collectors edition and they advertised this, so there is evidence gamestop jacked up the price for their own benefit.

I would wait until Meijier has a 10% sell off of electronics and then buy some kindle cards. Then wait for a 3DS XL sell to price match

Give me a break. Nintendo doesn't care at all. There is no evidence that Gamestop jacked up the price on anything. It could just as easily have been an error in the price in the initial press release for the Zelda CE and Gamestop will continue to get Nintendo exclusives guaranteed. Amazon on the other hand is just now starting to carry Nintendo hardware after almost two years of not doing so. While Nintendo is probably happy to have another retailer back on board, it has nothing to do with Gamestop.

Well I never said they were happy about it. I asked if there was anything said to back up your assumption. It's easy to blame GS for Xeno/MPTrilogy reprint and the price difference on the Zelda CE edition but there is nothing I'm aware of that actually supports (as a fact) Nintendo is mad at GS or is even upset with them. You may be right but I'm not willing to place all the blame on GS without some type of proof.

Edit: corrected some grammar from posting on phone.
