Picked up 2 $20 E-shop cards, was tempted to get more but they should last a while as I don't buy full 3DS games from the E-shop.

I had the same thought and did as well.

Just finished at Richmond, VA Walmart and the $40 GC didn't come up on the computer. Grabbed a weekly ad on the way in and had no prob with them giving me one on a separate transaction for free. Now I have a $200 3dsxl on a receipt with no promo. $50 Walmart gift card coming next week on the price match making it basically $110. Sweet.

What price match is giving you the $50 giftcard?

I'm also assuming the $40 gc is only for this specific bundle? I wonder why that is, especially since it's at the normal retail price.

I bought the M&L bundle this morning, and the $40 giftcard wasn't coming up in their system.  They ended up printing out a list that stated all the items in the store that qualifies for the $40 giftcard promo.  On that list, I saw that the Zelda bundle and Animal Crossing Bundle also qualifies for the $40 giftcard.  However, since the giftcard isn't showing up in the system, it might be hard to prove it.

Anyone have luck PM the eshop cards at target?  I went to the one near me and said they could not do it.

Also not sure how many eShop cards to get.

Bought 3 $20 cards so far, but contemplating getting more.

Nintendo rarely has sales on eShop cards let alone for 20% off.  Combine that with random eShop sales and the Wii U digital deluxe promotion running through next year (10% back) and it's really tempting to pick up more cards.

i cant figure out how many i want either. im not going to buy many full games on either eshop but probably plenty of VC titles in the future

I ended up getting two copies of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (one for brother, one for fiancee) and 9 $20 eShop cards (which I could only get 3 per order).

If I had more disposable income, I'd grab more eShop cards.  I doubt we'll ever see them on sale again, frankly, or at least not with any frequency.

I originally bought 3 $20 cards (since that's the first thing that worked online)... then right as I left the house to get my in-store pickup I decided to get another $50 card. I have no idea why, other than the Nintendo stuff is always horribly overpriced, and this is as close as we often get to a sale. (that said, this sale DOES happen 'regularly', but it's maybe like once or twice a year, so now's time to stock up!)

That said, I still don't think I ever spent all the money I ended up buying on original Wii points cards. :P Whereas I can't seem to keep enough in my PSN wallet.

I might wait to start buying anything for closer to Christmas, just in case Nintendo wises up and actually does a sale I'd want to partake in.

So tl;dr -- spent more than I expect I needed, but I might be set for the rest of this generation. ;) I just hope Nintendo combines 3DS and WiiU sooner than later, that's part of why I got 3 $20 cards, to split between platforms and hold the $50 until they hopefully merge.

Once they bring together the 3ds and wii u, the value of these cards will be a lot better.

Yeah I decided to get 3 more $20 eShop cards.

Too good of a deal to pass up. Can't justify buying more than $120 in credit though.

I still can't decide whether it's worth the time/effort to make this promo work with the copy of SMB3DW that I bought last week.  Don't want anything from the list but I guess I could get another copy of SMB3DW and sell it.

I hate how Nintendo first party games hold their value for so long.

Would you rather they be Ubisoft where you can't buy their games for months because you'll be throwing money away if you do, and after that inevitable plummet they're worthless?  I would rather have the Nintendo games that I can buy at full price without regret and know that in two years I can sell for almost as much as I could today.

So every time bby gets a ps4 or xbox1 they will give out tickets and u will need to camp out to get one

Only if they get them for the ad where they have to hold them.  If it's a random shipment that they can sell right away they'll just go on the shelf and whoever is lucky enough to be there will be able to buy them.

Weird.  It was a Luigi branded card?  The only $35 card they had here was a regular Eshop card and it rang up full price so I grabbed 2 $20 ones instead.  I would've rather got a $35 because it's a better discount and I only needed $30 worth.

I wish they had seen this list! The list they printed only had the M & L and normal colored 3DSXL's on it so I couldn't talk them into it.

I'll take it. Got Animal Crossing 3DS for $15 after points and somehow with that purchase I got $20 free back in rewards. Great deal to me haha

Wait...you only bought animal crossing and got $20 back in points? $10 I can understand with a paper or digital coupon but how'd you get to $20? Perhaps a glitch-same promo as if you buy a 3DS?

Yeah, I've taken to buying the darn things right away if I want them since they never drop in price anyway.

I think that might be the case since the other values on the site are character branded and it might be a different UPC or something.

Isn't it the same discount regardless of card?  Whether you buy 5 $20 cards or 2 $50 cards, it's the same discount.  I think.  I am not the best mathematician.

I just picked up Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon and a copy of Zelda A Llink Between Worlds.  I got the b1g1 50% off but my 20% GCU didn't work.  Guess I'll go back in tomorrow to get that sorted out.  It worked online for me with in store pickup though.

Hasa anyone else had trouble getting it to stack in-store?

What price match is giving you the $50 giftcard?

Next week Target is supposed to have the M & L bundle for $150. Since my receipt says $200 Walmart will post price match with a Walmart GC.

The official policy is to bring the receipt and the ad with yhe lower price to the lawaway window and they should give the GC from there.

Yeah it's the same discount, he probably did the math wrong.  In his situation (only needing $30) it's probably better to get the $35 card though.

Skylanders Buy 2 get 1 isn't working online right now.  Bummer.  I was going to get 3 last figures.  (no idea why... it's an addiction at this point.)

I only picked up a $20 eShop for my new Wii U. It honestly would be a good deal, but Nintendo has a terrible online account system and horrible pricing. If a customer opts for a digital copy of a retail game, there at least be a discount. My Vita gives, at minimum, a 10% discount on New releases, if not deeper for PSN sales.
