Yeah, no XBone or PS4 version coming. They might actually have to put a little work into it if they brought it out on the new systems. They would rather recycle the same, tired game engine and graphics that we've seen the past several years.

The only difference between AC and WWE is that WWE games usually stay at around $40-50 the entire year (excluding sales) and AC games drop to $20 in like 4 months.

The WWE games are pretty much the only games I'll buy on release at full price and not feel bad about it. I freakin love em. I know last year WWE13 was around $30 during Black Friday so I'd assume this one will be too somewhere. I think it was Walmart that had it super cheap. I picked this one up on release day and have been playing it every night since. I LOVE it.

Amazon had WWE13 as a lightning deal before Christmas one Friday I remember.
And Gamestop had it for $30/35 right after Christmas....that's when I bought it.
Walmart had it on Black Friday for $30? But from what I was told/read it was real short packed in the shippers.
And for whatever reason, WWE games hold their value higher over the years than other annual sports titles. So buy it when that first true sale happens or expect to wait 2 years to see that price again.

I'd personally hold off on it. I got the phenom edition, and really am just not enjoying it as much as 13. Maybe it was cause the attitude era was good, or the 2k14 WM stuff is just very bland, I don't know. Unless you are just a superfan and gotta have it, wait till BF at least and see what it goes for, or maybe longer.

Does 2k14 have the same slowdown that 13 has when you have 6 wrestlers in the ring? Sometimes the slowdown is really bad in 13 and detracts quite a bit from the fun.
I've only done one 6 man match (a battle royale on PS3 version) and it was nonexistent. They improved the gameplay a LOT.
yes and no. the faster strikes are stupid. some of the weapons physics are better and some are worse(tables are seriously glitched to hell and back in this game). seems a lot of reversal animations got removed too. and you are wrong this game has slowdown. Ive seen it in 4 way matches much less 6 man matches.
ultimately this game removed some things and added some things. the things it removed are a bit mind boggling like championship scramble is inexplicably gone as is create a titantron and 90% of the highlight reel. commentary manages to be even worse. the diva CAW also is worse with multiple sliders doing nothing and a great deal more morph the face far less. I only rented and didnt check out the male CAW but i'd imagine it suffered a similar fate.
the new moves it added are great. the sound effects are a great step forward for once. there is an actual create a belt. the servers work better. and the AI is the best this series has had. slobberknocker mode was added.
so 2 steps forward 4 steps back.

I haven't experienced any, so how can I be wrong? LOL.
Also, the fast striking is great. The reversals are much better this year and the AI finally stopped just spamming them and actually does moves now, which is awesome. However, this is NOT the best AI the series has EVER had...it's the best in a long time, yes, but not ever. I've experienced no problems with tables either, but then again a lot of the glitches are exaggerated in these games anyway. I put hundreds of hours in every year and experience very few glitches (aside from stuff like last year's 2 count issue since that was a programming issue more than it was a glitch). Maybe I'm just lucky?
Championship Scramble was horrible and WWE hasn't done one in a long time so that's why it's gone. Highlight Reel/Titantron creation took up a lot of save space and probably was the root of a lot of glitches so that's probably why they're gone. The CAW mode for males is exactly the same as last year with a very super minor changes. I haven't used diva CAW mode and probably never will so I can't comment on that, but all 6 of my original creations I make every year transferred over perfectly, so no the male create mode has not changed in terms of morph.
