This watch is based on the Normandy SR2 space ship from Mass Effect the video game.
This watch is two-tone black and silver from the case to the band, composed of 316L NASA grade steel. Its 45mm case which has a 3 hand and date Japanese movement. Ooooh, want. Never heard of jinx.com, but I assume they are reliable.

300 bucks and it has an elementary school kids wrist strap?  Oh god.

I dont usually thread crap... but that watch probably cost like 50 bucks to make if that. Mind is blown.

Searched the page and it didn't say where it was made. The Quartz is most likely swiss made, but nothing is said about the rest of watch.

There was a little discussion on the dead space watch, some speculated that it will sell for a lot on eBay, didn't follow the price of that watch since I didn't like the color scheme. This one is much more appealing.

Bury this thread please :)

I've been keeping my eye on this since it was announced and put up for sale a few weeks ago. I'm a little disappointed because this is basically a prodigy watch model which is MSTR economy watch except instead of a rubber band its metal. The prodigy retails for $180 but you can find it for less. The DS3 and RE watches were more expensive models to begin with but they retailed for less then this one.

TreeHouse / MSTR are really milking the Mass Effect fans for every penny and I think people are catching on and that is why this is still in stock despite being up for 3-4 weeks.

Someone mentiond a BF3 watch (Battlefield?). I know MSTR mentioned that they were doing something with EA for the BF franchise but I hadn't seen a finished product yet. Did I miss something?

So far they have done

Need For Speed

Dead Space 3

ME (N7)

ME (Normandy)

Resident Evil

Battlefield (don't believe it's released yet)

and then they've done some other projects for Lexus, LeBron James boutique (UNKWN), Voltron TV Show, Anderson Silva, Bun B, and I most likely missed a few.

The Dead space watch is NOT going for much at all on ebay, I forget if it was $300 as well but it isn't fetching much more than $200 especially after tax.

Here's the Battlefield version.

I don't know if it was Meister than handled the shipping but my DS3 watch had scuffs on the exterior of the box since it was not properly packed with sufficient packing material.  Unbelievable.

Seems much better than its Battlefield counterpart...but still.  How is $300 for a watch, a deal?

I understand the reselling potential but it's a $300 watch..........

Gaming-retards' Rolex, apparently.

Yeaaaaahhh, for $300 I'd expect better than "ballistic nylon with a leather infused back." Also, couldn't they have had a copy writer work on the description? But I'm totally calling Battlefield 4 "Battlefields 4th" from now on.

Christ, they'll tack "limited" onto anything nowadays in an effort to get some quick cash. If you support this you're an asshole...

The BF watch design is kind of poor and bland but it does have a chronograph in it which is pretty nice. Internally it should be more expensive than the ME watch just because chronograph is more complex/expensive to produce. Aesthetically the ME watch is more pleasing to the eye.

If you're a collector it wouldn't be a bad investment, at least for the ME watch since that's pretty popular franchise. BF is popular but I don't think people collect the stuff. But if you're looking for an everyday watch for ~$300, I'd rather buy from a known watch maker.

Mass Effect watch looks nice.  Would consider getting it if it was under $100.

I'm a big fan of the series and I like watches

I thought that was a nylon strap. Not having it is just stupid for an expensive limited edition watch for Battlefield.
