PS4 Launch Edition Available On Amazon

well that was worth staying up for. 12.99 delivery on Saturday and I don't have to wait in line for crap at Costco or Best Buy! Thanks OP!

 
What is the difference between this and Standard? I know for X1 it actually SAYS something about Day One on the controller but I can't see this noted anywhere for this PS4 version. Can anyone confirm?

Just got back from my local Best Buy, where I scored one (no line and no pre-order, midnight release), but if this is has something special about it, I'll pick it up and return the one I've got! Otherwise, I need not bother. Can someone clarify?

According to Amazon the standard and launch editions were identical. The launch edition meant you were guaranteed to get it on release day

 
there are so many bad reviews on amazon of verified buyer, i wouldnt get this on amazon, it seems they have the bad batch or something, i suggest we all wait and see on this one

 
I keep seeing this thread pop up and it's never actually in stock.  Speaking of "in stock", Best Buy called yesterday while I was out to tell me that my PS4 is ready for pickup.  I cancelled that thing 3 months ago.  I'm tempted to go see what would happen if I try to pick it up.

What would happen? You'd sell it for a profit on CL or you'd return it in a couple/four/six weeks (depending on Elite status) if you're for some reason unable to find a buyer.

He's saying he doesn't know if they would sell it to him or not since he already cancelled.

Also this thread needs to be closed or change the title. It's annoying to see it in stock when it isnt
