Battlefield 4: Praises or Rants?

I picked up a copy of BF4 PC for $30 not too long ago, I figured my computer could easily run it and I didn't want to drop $400 for a PS4. I'm debating on whether or not I should open it since I've been reading on the Battlelog forums of the numerous bugs and crashes. 

What is everyone's experience with BF4 so far? I would like to hear some opinions on the next gen version since the PS4 will be released tomorrow. Does anyone think PS4 and Xbox One will have the same problems as PC?

Personally I really enjoy BF4 on the PC.. of course it's going to have bugs and crashing issues.. it's barely been out. Give it time to iron out the kinks. Your PC can run it at 1920x1200 or more? There's really no comparison.. who knows if ps4/xb1 will have BF4 issues.

IMO, neither console is worth the money right now. You buy a console for the games and my PC can play just about everything I would *want* to play on the new consoles.

Do you really want to play BF4 on a controller? I grew up in the 90s on Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem 3D.. which evolved to Quake 2, Half-Life, Counter-Strike.. so by nature, I will always be PRO Mouse+Keyboard.

Open it.  Bugs and crashes already patched once.  Another patch is coming sooner than later.  Game is fun.  

My buddy said he's really disappointed. Enjoyed BF3 a lot more. Didn't get much into it but he told me this: That skyscraper you can knock down on that city map? Yeah, everyone -- on both teams -- rolls engineer at the start of the game to so they can demolition that building. Matches do not actually start until people bring down the entire ing skyscraper. Just because they can.

And I have to say, that problem was really easy to see coming.

I have BF4 on PS4 and I think it's fantastic!!

my biggest problem with BF4 on ps4 is i cant change my shooting from r2/l2 to 1 and 1

i play on xbox one. awesome game. few crashes but still loads of fun.

played some on PS4, I seemed to have server issues a lot.  Its on the back burner right now but for the $22 I paid (thank you Target B2G1 and 30% coupon) I can say I'm getting my money's worth.
