Will a car charger for the "3DS" work with a "3DSXL"?

I know stupid question but if I remembered correctly one of the Nintendo recent handhelds took a special charger that did not work with the other models. Looking to get a 3DS car charger for my son and they have one at TRU for $8.99 but it doest say anything about the 3DSxl on it.

Yes. 3ds, 3dsxl, and dsi use the same charger.

The micro used its own crappy connector.

Yea, it totally works, my roommate has one he scooped up from a used game store and it works fine for the long trips to Atlanta
