Welcome to the new, hopefully official, Groupon thread. Props to marjincharge for starting the last thread but the OP doesn't seem to get updated anymore so I am hopefully doing this to gain control of the OP and keep it up to date without offending anyone. The original Groupon thread can be found here.
Groupon Referrals. You can get $10 Groupon Bucks for referring a new member who makes a purchase in 72-hours.
Shipping Cost. Anything over $14.99 ships free. This is the total cost of your order so you can get a few cheaper items all at once and as long as the total for the order is over $14.99 it all ships free. Anything under ships with a flat rate of $2.99, which sucks when you total is around $12-13.99.
Shipping Time. Unless there is a 7-day guaranteed delivery icon on the picture of the item YMMV. I have had items shipped out same day and received 1-2 days later and I have had items take 2-3 weeks. Typically it is in the 1-1/2 week range, but count on 3 weeks and be happy with anything quicker.
Redemption. Once you purchase and complete your order, that's it. No need to worry about redeeming the Groupon, it is just like any other e-commerce site and there is no 3rd party to redeem the Groupon with.
Stock. Deal runs until EITHER the stock is sold out or the time for the deal comes to an end, whichever is first. Do not count on a hot deal lasting until the end of the stated time frame.
