AtGames Sega Genesis Classic Console

Has anyone used this system yet? It is apparently a revamped Genesis with a crapton of actual Genesis games loaded in the console. Saw it at TRU and thought it looked interesting.

I do not have one personally, but it seems very similar to their other tv games. I love the Atari ones and have all 4 of them. The graphics and sound may not be perfect replications, but it's cool for what it is and that's a cheap little tv game device that can play original genesis games. (They'll be $30 on Black Friday/Saturday @ ToysRUs. They might be cheaper elsewhere)

...I'd also look into getting an original Genesis controller since the wireless one undoubtedly sucks. 

I've got one,it is pretty sweet,works flawlessly! The wireless controllers work surprisingly well too. Definitely a good buy,especially at 30$

I got to try one recently and had a blast with it. Used an original wired Genesis controller and it worked great. Played Streets of Rage 2, Kid chameleon and Sonic and Knuckles.

It accepts original Genesis cartridges too!

From what I've read though the sound on this device isn't quite perfect. Just looked up some YouTube videos and confirmed this. The one I saw with Sonic 1 was indeed way off. Maybe if I wasn't so used to how these genesis games always were it wouldn't bother me but knowing this makes it a deal breaker.

I saw something like this at a local family dollar. I wish I could remember the price for it. I think it was like $50 maybe, not sure. But it sounds very similar to what you're talking about. I might have to pick one up soon. 

Judging from the reviews, it looks like you might have different games loaded on the system if you get an older model.  Because the Amazon reviews seem to mention that some of them are missing certain Sonic games.  While others have Revenge of Shinobi on it and others don't.  Weird.  Guess it's some licensing thing that they change with a new model every year.
