Well no luck getting them to price match the Wal-Mart deal, they wouldn't even adjust the price instead of giving a gift card. It's going to be really hard to wait for this price to come back down to the 149.99 price point, here's hoping it happens in the next month  as I'd really like to get my hands on Pokémon X and Zelda! On a side note, I have never played any of the animal crossing games, as a general fan of RPGs and games in the vein of Pokémon and the like is this a game you guys would suggest? Thanks!!

Ah, I'm guessing you had no Fry's stores within 25 miles of you? Animal Crossing, as mentioned above, is all about micromanagement. There's no real goal to speak of other than making a wonderful town for your villagers to live in. It's a lot of fun if you're into designing and collecting. With no goal, there's no endgame, so you can keep playing as long as the content interests you. Having friends who also play it has made me log more than 300 hours of game time, so...

Target will do a price match from a picture of a reciept? Really?

At least one here did; I got them to price match the Zelda Wii U bundle for $200 from the Sears price glitch with someone else's Best Buy receipt. :D

Thanks for all the suggestions so far guys. I thought best buy didn't price match gift card offers. I'm looking to purchase at best buy since I have those gift cards. It's been hard to wait with so many great games! Rewatching old Pokemon with my kids hasn't been helping either :-)

If you don't mind online here is a 3ds XL bundle cobalt blue with lungi dark mansion for $160 on best buy clearance online. Not bad! It's also available in some stores near me so look at your local availability too. Good luck let me know if this works for you. I saw you post earlier asking about deals.

The lowest I've ever seen it was $25 on Black Friday and I doubt it will hit $20. It tends to hang around $30 on amazon.

I haven't seen it for less than $40 the last two weeks.

Of course I miss it and Animal Crossing for $25 and Pokemon Y screw up for $20 this holiday season by buying the Xl so late.

3D Land is the next game I want, then Mario Kart.

hmm how about Zelda OoT? hmm been thinking of picking that up.

I'm still feeling a little bummed about picking up Kid Icarus for $35 - $16 (credit.. could have went to something else I suppose) = $19 but with it out of stock everywhere... I guess there's little that can be done.

Not a very CAG-y comment, but Mario Land 3D is the best game on the 3DS IMO.  It's a must play at any price.

Agreed except for Zelda & Pokemon are now the best 3DS has to offer.  Mario is a close 3rd though and I liked it even better than 3D World.  It's definitely worth full price but even if you can get it for $10 off it's a pretty good deal.

You guys are getting spoiled with all these $10-20 games   - a lot of the 3DS catalog is totally worth the $40 price tag.

I regret picking it up for $25 on BF. Just felt so... bland. In my old age, I prefer my Mario in 2D.

3d land is also going to be my next game but I missed it for $25 on Black Friday. Also ive played every mario kart but the ds version and mario kart 7 is my least favorite of the series but that's just me.

I like my 3DS games to be $30, I'd buy more at $30.  $40 just seems like too much besides Animal Crossing which is oddly $35 and loads of fun.

I love the Super Nintendo and N64 Mario Karts, the GBA one was funnish too.  The problem is they are all fun, but not for a long time.  I hated the Gamecube one, the levels were weird.

I guess the order for games I want would be 3D Land, Zelda, Mario Kart 7 (I hate the numbering), then New Super Mario Bros 1 and 2, which are $25 and $30 respectively on Amazon.

Well, I grew up in that era also and I prefer 3D Mario except the classics, which to me are 3 & World.

Did you finish it, by chance?

Brain Age: Concentration Training was marked down to 9.99 from 29.99 at my center city Kmart in Philadelphia today so I picked up a copy of that.  The sticker said the price was good until 1/11.  I'm not sure if that's a widespread Kmart deal since I can't find anything in their ads about it.  It's a pretty well rated title and certainly worth a buy at that price if you're into that sort of game.

Negative. With my free time being somewhat limited, I really can't justify playing through something I'm not enjoying.

Gotcha, I'm the same way most of the time.  I think if you had a chance to finish it you might appreciate it more, it's basically a love letter to anyone from our generation that grew up on Mario.  The after-game content is especially great.

Oh that's too bad. Game definitely gets better in terms of challenge and level design the further you get into it. I'm a bigger fan of the 2D Mario games myself but 3D Land was something special IMO.

Just nabbed MK7 for $14.99 at Best Buy. I price matched with Target's Boxing day deal here in the states, but obviously YMMV.

Tempting, but I couldn't do this with a straight face.

I was able to price match the $14.99 Boxing Day 3DS games at Best Buy and Walmart in the US, using both the flyer and the Nintendo site. I also tried at two Targets, but both of them denied me because they couldn't find any record of the sale in their system. I scanned my receipts to help y'all PM them as well.  :)

Best Buy didn't even question it. Walmart seemed kind of suspicious of it, but I just played it cool and the Customer Service Manager they called in was cool in turn; she just looked the stuff over for a bit and eventually said it was all right to do it.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get Kid Icarus: Uprising after all; Target doesn't price match Kmart. :(

If you read back he's mentioned considering buying at retail $199.99 and only at best buy because of gift cards. Feel free to chip in and offer a suggestion. Maybe swap bby gift card for the kindle ones in store and buy the same bundle for $195 on amazon assuming he is in a no tax state.
