Play DS Games on your HDMI TV

Howdy,

I saw on here a few weeks back a device forsale on Amazon that would let me load my sons DS games into a console and play them onto the TV.

Could anyone let me know the name of the device.  I seem to be coming up blank currently

I so would buy a 2DS if it had television output.  Just use the 2/3/DS as the touchscreen with both screens on the television.

Only a hardware mod will allow video output on a monitor.  This guy can do that for you but it is not cheap

You may be talking about the vita TV which plays, you guessed it, vita games.

Seems like a silly/unnessecary thing to have. You would need the actual hardware anyway to control the touch screen, and the display would be very small on the screen if stacked vertically, and would be very awkward for other games stacked side to side.

Nintendo gave out official capture kits to media outlets but there is almost certainly some amount of display lag between the console and the TV output, since it's not intended to be played off the screen, but rather captured for later playback.

Is this what you were thinking of? I'm not sure how any devices would simulate the touchscreen for DS but most older systems are emulated with this.
