Perfect Dark($1.99) on xbox 360 dashboard

Just logged on to xbox live and at the games section on the dashboard the game is $1.99 limited time only. If you look in the arcade section its still listed as $9.99.

Already own this one, but wanted to chip in to those not sure on buying.

This is a damn good HD remake. In addition to solving the classic issue of slowdown the N64 version had, the textures actually look real good. In addition, there are a number of control schemes implemented. (Rather than just trying to emulate N64 controls) This isn't a half assed port like we see a lot of companies do in their HD re-releases. The game is still fun, and (at least imo) has aged rather well.

If you're at all a fan of older console shooters (ala the original N64 version or even Goldeneye) I can't recommend this enough. I felt it worth the asking price at msrp, and would definitely vouch for it at $2.

 
I don't know exactly why, but this and the Marathon (Bungie) remake on XBLA are the two FPS' that make me woefully ill. Could be the field of view and/or the smoother framerate accompanying that :(

 
There's no excuse (IMO) not to buy PD at this price. It's an awesome port of a classic game.

If anyone wants to play the multiplayer, add me: Master of Smash
 
My 360 was in the closet, so I definitely would have missed it! Odd that they don't have the logo or anything, just a picture of the alien...

I was on the fence for $10, even though Perfect Dark was one of my favorite games in high school, but for $2 I'm totally sold.

 
I figure even if it does become free, this game is worth $2. I was playing this on N64 last winter and I've never had this much fun playing multiplayer.

My wife has the same issue with Half Life 2 on the 360. I have no issue, but she gets instantly sick.

wow, chill man, not everybody knows about every game, what system it was released for first, and which console it was an exclusive to.

I have the same problem with this game,Half-Life and Serious Sam games I'm not sure why but whenever I play them It just makes me feel sick.
