News readers to replace Pulse

I have used Pulse for a long time as a news reader for everything in gaming, tech and android.  Now with it being part of linkedin and seeming to have dropped most of the sites I was reading.  I had thought I would just go to pulse.me and read everything, but I didn't like the way it worked on my phone so I tried to find an older version of the app.  When I found one and logged in all of my news sites were deleted and I had to start over.  The problem was yet again most of them I could no longer find in the app, and now when I go to pulse.me all of them are gone due to the app syncing with the site.  I'm wondering what everyone else uses.

Good question. I use pulse and it kept most of my sites with the upgrade, However, I don't like it's all white background look and adding any new content is gone.

You might be on the older one. I think my icon changed to linkedin pulse. If you didn't have to use a linkedin account I suggest don't upgrade past what you are on.
