Keep in mind that some Walmarts have already received their allotted stocks and have already put them onto sales floors. When a retailer says that they are going to have X product on Y day, that's because they are holding whatever they have already received in their backrooms until that day, and not all stores follow that rule. This was a big problem during the Wii's initial hype and it's a great marketing tactic that ups demand.

Just came back from Walmart ( Charleston, SC), they had 42 PS4 instock. I picked up one for a coworker. This might be an indication of how many PS4 Walmart will have in stock this week.
 
Yeah most of the chicagoland walmarts sold their allotment yesterday and today as they were not holding them for Sunday.

 
cool, I called my Walmart and they did say they had plenty in stock for this Sunday (Shakopee, MN)

 
I work at a store in Illinois. We have been selling the few we get in off the truck. However when I scanned them we do have massive onhands. I believe the pre orders and people who did not pick there's up ends on the 15th along with lay away. So keep an eye out just in case.
 
I walked into Walmart in Council Bluffs Iowa and bought 1 yesterday.  They got 9 in and I was surprised it was in the case.

Anyone in the Shorewood, Joliet, Naperville, Oswego, Minooka area. Shorewood, IL (North Joliet) #2956 Walmart does have them. I confirmed with my co manager that they are holding PS4's for Sunday. If the counts are correct there will be about at least 30 if not more. We are a high sales store. Hope this helps anyone in the area!
