I feel like once a game is on PS+ no deal is good enough. Sure some people don't have a ton of space on their Vita card(s) or just prefer physical. Even if I missed out on the game when it was on PS+, just knowing the game was free at some point would mean that it would have to be an incredible deal for me to bite.

Having a physical copy (even just as a backup) is always preferable to only having a digital copy, PS+ or not, for me.
