Tearaway $19.99 Amazon(currently OOS but still available to order) [Update: PSN Digital Code now $19.99]

Does amazon match their physical vita prices with their digital? I've only seen regular PSN prices on amazon.

I'm crossing my fingers for a digital price match!

Bought this from Best Buy at the end of November for $23.99 (Pretax) with GCU, just spoke with BB and they're going to give me $6 back as a Giftcard. Why $6? I don't know; even after tax it was only $25.50, so I actually only paid a total of $19.50 for it.

Did have a slight problem though, the person I was speaking to saw a price of $35.97 or something like that on Amazon, it was only after she added it to the cart did she see the updated price. She also said they didn't match Gamestop, which is bullshit because I matched there before.

Wanted to bite on this on Amazon, but damn that shipping & tax! With all that, it comes up to $27.

It is not on the list of website they price match if you check their PM policy.

I know they are just matching GS, but since Amazon credit is easier to come by than GS credit, and I also don't pay tax at Amazon (that is changing soon :( ), I ordered from Amazon. Thanks. This is the first physical vita game I've bought since buying the vita.

"A local retail competitor for BestBuy.com purchases is a retail store authorized by a vendor to sell a new, factory-sealed product with a warranty and is located in the same market area (within a 25 mile radius) as either the billing address or the shipping address on record for the purchase."

I thought the price was in-stores too?

Just tried ordering it, but it looks like it sold out? Anyone getting the same message?

That's pretty ridiculous. They must have only had 10 copies of this in-stock lol. WIll have to try Gamestop (and hope for the best, ugh).

You're aware this is a roughly 2 - 5 hour game that can be platinumed in like 8 hours, right?
Just because it's short doesn't mean it's not excellent. I paid $40 at release and loved every minute of my platinum trophy - it's my handheld game of the year. The art design is amazing, the music and sound design are phenomenal, it's funny and charming, it uses the Vita's features in unique and non-gimmicky ways, and it's fun.

For those that are curious, I talked to Amazon CS to see if they would price match a digital code at $20. No dice.

Wow man, back the fuck down. I was just saying they might not want to get digital. God, some people defend this game to such a ludicrous degree.

He wasn't exactly attacking you, just stating that he thought it was well worth the price.
And I think it is a terribly overrated game that isn't worth $15 dollars, but there is a time and place for everything. I just rather not have more people tell me why I'm wrong, when I was trying to be nice and suggesting they might want to avoid going digital (for resale value).

Thanks for the heads up! I bought a copy of this a couple weeks ago as a Christmas gift at the $29.99 price point from Amazon, ended up doing a return/rebuy from Amazon at $19.99 (Customer service was not keen on just refunding me the difference since it had been more than 7 days, no big deal though)

Did Amazon charge you for return shipping?

I just got this as well, read good things about this. The only downside is that it'll end up in the instant game collection soon. I hope not already in January, or I'll be very upset...

yeah, saw it at 19.99 and went to PM this at BB but when I pulled it up on the phone, the price was NOT 19.99

so not cool

I stopped at the one near my house, and I grabbed one. It wasn't the "shelf" copy, but it had been clearly opened and used because it had been re-shrink wrapped. Still not sure how its legal to sell opened /resealed items as new.

Oh well, $20 is a good price.

Should have read my post earlier. Same thing happened to me when I asked BB.com to pricematch. It was $19.99 when they added it to the cart though.

I'd pay that for the digital version.  Or is it actually confirmed to be coming to PS+ free?

If I wait a year, it'll be $20 on PS+ anyway I suppose.

Argh this goes on sale but Persona can't stay at $16.99?  I was looking to use the $5 off $35 now I have to go find something else to use it with.

I played the Demo version yesterday, didn't like it personally. I'll wait for it to be $10 next year.

I bought this from AMZ a few weeks ago when it was $30. Might CS shoot me over some credit to make up for the difference?

is this one of those games you can play over and over again? Im debating physical or digital. Is there local multiplayer?
