can anyone reccomend a game for me?

I am looking for a game similar to the old never winter nights games. Can anyone reccomend anything good released in the last few years?

I'll dig into some indie stuff just to try and refresh my memory but the most similar game that I can think of is Dragon Age Origins.

edit: You're basically going to be playing BioWare games for that flavor of RPG (party-based can pause at any time and assign tactics) but there are smaller games like Drakensang and the like. Not a whole lot out there for that exact style and what is there is pretty hit-and-miss. (even within BioWare's catalog)

Now if you want to tread into 2D then you'll have more options with a ton of older stuff on GOG and then basically every game that Spiderweb Software makes. But for 3D stuff the pickings are kinda slim.

This suggestion is a little different from what you are looking for, but what about XCOM: Enemy Within?  It's such an awesome game!  And it has RPG-like elements to it.

First, are we talking about Neverwinter Nights on PC or the console... They are quite bit of a different take.

If you mean console; The Diablo, Torchlight, Marvel Heroes (Free to Play) are all good choices.... Van Helsing could be but its a bit different in that its got WASD (on gamepad controls) and not mouse for movement controls.

If you mean PC, than you should look at the Baldur's Gate series, NWN2, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (1 and 2), and Dragon Age Origin.
