Newegg (through third party) - $20 PSN code for $17.49, 1pm to 3pm PST

As part of their Shell Shocker deals of the day today, Newegg, though this third-party seller, will sell $20 PSN codes for $17.49 from 1pm to 3pm Pacific. Their listing says that the delivery method is digital download via email.

Deal is live. Shipping options says free through UPS as if they are cards, but listing says they are instant codes. :?:

 

Ugh, they charge sales tax in CA, TN, and NJ. Prices goes up to $18.80.

we're already charged sales tax when we buy games from the vendor (in this case sony), paying tax on the gift card makes no sense...

Yeah I was excited at first, but deal doesn't look so hot now.  I can get this from Target for 19.00 every day with Redcard.

 

Also, if you can do 50, adding $50 to PSN via Paypal gets you an extra $10

Also, the 3rd party seller who has these only has a total of 3 ratings (only listed rating was in May 2013), seems a bit fishy to me.

The fact they are charging tax on a card should tell you everything you need to know. Thats a scam in itself
