Best Buy sending out $30 GCU Membership Offers

I just received this in the mail today, offering me the @Gamers Club Unlocked for the full 2 years for just $30 (reg. $120; 75% off).

It's a one use coupon, can only be redeemed in store, and mine has an expiration of February 10, 2014. 

Now, I don't know if this is everyone, but I have had a GCU membership in the past, and I am currently a RZ Elite Plus member (spend $3500+ per year). I don't want to say for certain this has anything to do with it, but very may could.

Has nothing to do with your elite status. There's a thread on the first page...

$30 for 2 years is for existing old gamer club members or people who had their membership expire in the last 6 months or so.

They sent them out in emails once they switched to the new membership, and have also been sending them out in the mail.

Everyone who had theirs expire within the last few months or have current subs got this. There's a huge thread about it. Good if you didn't see it though.

 
Is this transferable?  Anyone want to send me one?

I'm pretty sure it's only being sent to prior unlocked members.  There is another thread.

I have been a member for a couple of years and I haven't gotten anything. I think the offer only goes to people whose subscription ends in February or earlier.

Untrue. Like said. If you had a membership expire in the last 6 months or are a current member you should get a coupon. If not...read the other thread for details on how to request one.

 
Btw those little bars below your address, the Intelligent Mail Barcode also contains some of your identifying information such as destination zip. Always good to conceal those too ;)

Which is 100 pages long and the OP doesn't address how to request one. The first dozen pages is oh the program is failing, then I tapped out. If it was easy you could just say here is how.

Man, that's when you go to the end and work backwards. Anyway, the answer is go to Best Buy's forums and send a PM to MIKE-BBY.
