Can you turn off game deletion on DSi/3DS?

My 3 year old is constantly deleting the games on my other kid's DSi.  I'm getting them both a 3DS XL for Christmas.  Is there a way to disable game deletion on the DSi or the 3DS?  It's pretty annoying to go back and redownload these over and over again.  Plus there's a way to disable this on the iPhone/iPad under "restrictions" but I can't find something similar for the DS's.  What am I missing?

No idea, but how the heck are they doing it?  The only way I know to delete games on the 3ds is to go into settings, then something like storage, then go through a semi tedious process of deleting each title.  If there's a way "so easy that a 3 year old could do it" I would sure like to know.

They don't have the 3ds's yet. I was worried it would be the same there. I think it's easier to do on the DSi. So far they haven't deleted anything on the Wii U. Basically my 3 year old clicks on everything.

I just ran through the Parental controls on my 3dsxl and you can restrict them from many things, just NOT deleting stuff, sorry.

I'm guessing Nintendo just made it harder for some reason on the 3ds then. That makes me feel better lol. I know little kids can pull off some pretty crazy things but I was like what the heck am I doing wrong; how have I not figured this out yet.

Have you tried talking to the child? I have a daughter and if I told her to never go into the settings, she wouldn't.
