It's been a long time since I've had a Lowball sale, but we are having our 2nd baby (this time it's a girl!) in April and I need to clear out a lot of space in our small home.  The auction officially starts now, but I still have literally hundreds of things to go through and will be selecting items to list.  I will add items to the list daily until the end of the lowball to keep things interesting, and I'll also be doing weekly lowballs for the next few months until I have enough money on the side and enough basement space =).  Here's the Lowball Details:

Shipping/Payment:

I am going to charge ACTUAL SHIPPING COSTS rounded to the nearest dollar.  As a buyer on several lowballs I know that shipping costs are the biggest detractor for people not to bid, and I really want this stuff SOLD.  Having actual shipping costs should also allow me to sell larger/heavier items without worrying about calculating everything ahead of time, and allow for international buyers to have a better shot as well.

"Rollover Shipping" Option

Because I plan on doing multiple lowball auctions over the next few months (my plan is to do them weekly as I have a great deal of merchandise to choose from) I'm going to offer the option for me to hold onto items from a lowball to "roll over" to the next one, to save you on shipping.  All I ask is that you pay for the full cost of the items themselves, then I'll set them aside for you and will bundle with your winnings on the next lowball.  If you end up not winning anything in the next lowball, I won't charge anything extra and we can ship once we receive your shipping funds separately.

The last lowball was such a success, that I’ve decided to run another!  I plan to do one a week for as long as possible (may take off a week or two to do taxes or other personal stuff), so please bid what you feel the items are worth and have fun =) Lots of goodies to be had!  Thanks for your support ^_^.

PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED: PP, AP, AGC, NES (Details Below)

1) Simply type in your max bid for the item(s) in this thread. No PMs. No Emails. Just reply in the forum reply section. This is to keep bids public. Obviously post edits and spoilers hiding bids are NOT acceptable. If you made a mistake in your submission, please post again.

2) I will update the first page to reflect your bids as often as possible (at least several times a day). Feel free to check the latest bids on the last page(s) if you are unsure of the latest update time.

3) There is no minimum to win any item. You can win them for as little as you bid. So if you bid $1.00 and win it, it's yours for a $1.00 (plus shipping). If someone bids $5 and you outbid them for $10, you may win the item for your $10 bid and pay your bid plus shipping at the end of the sale.

4) The smallest bid increment is $1.00, no $0.50 or $0.01 bids!

5) Please note that you will be expected to pay the amount that you bid, plus the appropriate shipping if you have the highest offer at the end. Negative feedback may be left for those who choose not to follow through with payment.  I will leave positive feedback for all paying bidders who do so in a timely manner.

6) If you place a bid, you are committing to that item. DO NOT place a bid if you do not intend to keep that bid active. While I understand that sometimes-unavoidable circumstances arise, if you are fearful that this may happen, please wait to bid on the last day so you know that nothing unexpected occurred!

Shipping/Payment:

I am going to charge ACTUAL SHIPPING COSTS rounded up to the nearest dollar.  As a buyer on several lowballs I know that shipping costs are the biggest detractor for people not to bid, and I really want this stuff SOLD.  Having actual shipping costs should also allow me to sell larger/heavier items without worrying about calculating everything ahead of time, and allow for international buyers to have a better shot as well.

"Rollover Shipping" Option

Because I plan on doing multiple lowball auctions over the next few months (my plan is to do them weekly as I have a great deal of merchandise to choose from) I'm going to offer the option for me to hold onto items from a lowball to "roll over" to the next one, to save you on shipping.  All I ask is that you pay for the full cost of the items themselves, then I'll set them aside for you and will bundle with your winnings on the next lowball.  If you end up not winning anything in the next lowball, I won't charge anything extra and we can ship once we receive your shipping funds separately.  In order to bid in my next lowball sale, you must have at least your items paid for from the previous one, before you can place new bids.

Lowball #3:  03/23/2014 - 04/03/2014

This is it!  I have less than three weeks now until my baby daughter is born and the clock is ticking!  I need to come up with enough money to buy a new dresser for baby clothes, a new bed/mattress to replace the old ones (changing from two beds to one in order to fit in a crib) and there's still lots of diapers/formula/etc. to buy...it gets expensive!  To make up for these much-needed funds I'm going all in with my final lowball (well for the time being anyhow).  Because I'm not running another Lowball for a little while, THIS WILL NOT BE A ROLLOVER LOWBALL, so if you have past items with me on hold, I ask that you pay for the shipping at the end of this one.  If you do not win any new items in this lowball, I will still invoice you for the total of past items since we need the storage space   :).

Thanks so much for your early interest guys.  I'm adding a bunch of new items and will be adding new items each day during the week (as I know a lot of bids come late in the game anyhow).  I really have almost 1000 items I just took out of storage and I've changed my business model so much over the years that I no longer wish to have so much merchandise just sitting there.  My loss is your gain =).

greendayrulestce, I've gone ahead and edited that -- thanks! It's a DS Lite model.  It came out in Navy Blue in Asia far earlier than it was here in the US and I had imported it back in the day.  I put it in a hard shell and took good care of it, though the hard shell did leave a series of light scratches on the outer case.  Still looks great in my opinion though as I've always liked that color.  I'll post the box for you as a spoiler tag.

I work grave shift at my job so I wake up at 2:30 AM or so.  I'm going to end it sometime before 4:00 AM when I start work.  So roughly between 2:30 AM - 4:00 AM ^_^.  That should limit the last second sniping but also give people a fair chance to get their last bids in reasonably.  Thanks!

Good morning guys!  I'm going to be adding new items now as well as some photos for already listed items.  I'm just using my iPhone for times-saving sake but the photos come out good enough I feel.  If there is anything without a picture you want to see or anything you have questions on let me know :).

TooPoor, that's totally fine by me as I have no intention on profiting on the shipping.  Like I said, my main goal here is to clear out the garage that I've been using as a storage area for my business and to get some extra money for the upcoming baby.  Both goals are intended to make my wife happy and I'm happy to see true gamers enjoy the games instead of just dumping them at Gamestop or similar stores.

 
Bids Updated, thanks MasaTFC!  May I suggest to all of you to change your CAG settings to show 100 messages per page on the forums...it helped me greatly in the past when trying to figure out who bid what on these lowball sales.  The typical 10 or 20 messages means you have to constantly change pages in your browser, whereas 100 gives you the full picture :).

 
TooPoor, no I live in Connecticut (USA). I just run a side business shipping games and other goods to Canada and other countries :). Started the business in 2008 to help fellow CAGs ^_^.
 
Yes Trendkill, all of the games work great. I actually take good care of my games but some were traded or given to me over the years so I accumulated multiple duplicates. Thanks!

Might I suggest adding a bunch of stuff at one time rather than a couple everyday? maybe its the anticipation killing me, but I would think you may be able to get more out of the items you are selling/adding if they have more time to accumulate bids.

MasaTFC, I would list them all at once but I run a really busy family life and it's hard for me to get more than 20 or 30 minutes in at a time on the computer without interruptions :).  I go to work, come home and take some pics, eat with my family, list some items, go back to sleep and back to work and repeat cycle.  If I had more free time I'd definitely list all at once =)  Maybe sometime in the near future...

Attikus, yeah it is :) Sorry to say but I thought I didn't have this game and I found it in my storage (I have about 10 boxes of games to sort through).  The other one I have is still unplayed so I'm selling the lowball one.  All the games I buy eventually end up back into Lowball anyhow so don't take it personally ^_^.

JDai, yes I'll post some photos later.  I plan to have photos for just about everything all in good time =).
