What is he thinking?

However one should point out that while North Korea is not the most "human-friendly" nation in the world..

How can the US judge them...

The only difference is While NK have murdered countless millions of its own people possibly, we the US just happens to have murdered millions of OTHER countries people.

This is in no way condoning or supporting NK, but should the person who points finger with the moral high ground actually have a ground that they can stand on?

Is it better for a country to murder its own people or a country who wants to murder other countries people?

NK imprisons political foes and innocents in horrid conditions, hey the USA has Gitmo

NK watches its people like a hawk, we have a NSA spy program

NK have state runned media, lol we have state runned propaganda :)

NK human rights violation, USA we imprision more people per capita then the rest of the world...

Media ( liberal and right wing bash Rodman ), yet anyone of them bother checking our own country's problems?

Yes if we are to bash Rodman and NK, we must also be willing to look in our own backyard.  Just cause we are the least worst, don't make us better.  Its akin to ephebophile thinking he/she is better then a pedophile

One of the primary purposes to having a government is the defense of its people. You can argue the efficiency of killing other people in the name of defending our own but you can't rationally compare it to a government killing its own people.

Is it better for a country to murder its own people or a country who wants to murder other countries people?
It's better for my country to kill other people than to kill its own. General statement, of course, and I'm sure people could think of exceptions.

Comparing the situation in the two nations is absurd. You know what I can do right now? Leave my house and start talking about the NSA and how I think it's terrible and the government is run by terrible people and they're all fools. Try wandering the streets of N. Korea, publicly decrying the government and its surveillance and call the head of state an asshole. See how much the "only difference" between the US and N. Korea is worth then.

There isn't a lot of high level thinking with this one.

I would be extremely happy if the U.S. stopped helping and "killing" people outside the country and in turn started killing "a few" people inside this country and helping those who need it.

How is Rodman going to rebound from this?
