Bestbuy just added a B2G1 for Platinum Hits games (which are Xbox 360 games).

Now while it may say platinum hits, I don't think there is a difference for SKU's or for NON platinum hits, so you may get the black label edition if they have it.

MANY games, too many to list for now but GOOD DEAL especially with GCU

God damn it I bought L4D2 at GS in a B2G1 sale six months ago, thinking it could be hard to find in the future. FAIL.

If you plan on using L4D2 as a filler, it is at least still worth something on eBAY sealed.

Valve game... hard to find? Lol your silly. But yeah in all seriousness, besides very very few exceptions, you should just as a rule of thumb assume gamestop is overcharging for ANY game, and ALWAYS check other sources first. When Mass Effect 2 was coming out, I was in store and going to pick up the first to beat and finally finish. They had used copies marked at like $45 or $50... Every time there is a b2g1 at gs and people freak out I shake my head, they end up paying more USED than they can get the game for NEW.

I am trying to decide what to get, as with GCU on top, even with tax, each game normally $20 breaks down to about $11.33 each. I am THINKING I might pair something with halo wars, as that one is essentially the GOTY version, and It might be time for me to pick it back up (I was a BEAST at that game).

In my defense, it was hard to find for a little while, when I bought it eBay prices were pretty high.

I panic easily for local co-op campaign games (because there are so few of them), single player games I have infinite patience on waiting for prices to become dirt cheap.

A moderately spec'd PC can run both of these games and they are much more interesting on that platform.  If you can run them on PC, I'd pick them both up in one of the frequent Steam sales for less than $5 each.  Much better experience.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have high end PCs but needed the console version for the campaign local co op with my wife.

Ya these prices are too high for my taste. $10 per game i would jump on, but this is too much. A pass for me.

Not sure if srs. If you have GCU, it comes out close to $10/game after the discount.

Thanks OP! I used this to re-purchase 3 of my 4 favorite games ever. Can anyone guess what the 4th is?

Oblivion
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas

This deal was cheaper than buying the regular versions and the remaining DLC I don't have for them.

Unfortunately, two of the games aren't available for shipping, but they were both in stock close to me. The third game isn't in stock there, so I had it shipped to me (it's still free shipping, because it goes by the entire order's price)

,,, Morrowind?

I am sorry I loved oblivion too, but morrowind just beats it in my eyes.

Yeah though a lot of these aren't available for shipping, but most if not all stores should have plenty of inventory of the platinum hits games.

Perfect example of this is how the CoD games go down in price in the spring and go back up heading into fall.

Also I remember getting a copy of ME1 with the collectors case for $18 before PUR a year or so before ME3 released.  By the time ME3 released they were charging $30 for a used copy of ME1.  Now it's back down to $10-15.

Would rather be this was in-store.

Or I finally feel motivated to order something online from Best Buy, banking on using Best Buy gift cards. (

Still have that $15 gift card from a previous BB deal. Probably buy another $25 gift card to offset the difference.

I'd so get:  Left 4 Dead 1, L4D2, and Dead Space 2.

Oh I guess I missed that in the L4D games on the console.  Couch coop is always a good thing.  Too bad it's such a dying mode :(

My thoughts exactly. If I want to play coop with someone I want them to be within arms reach of me so I can hit them when they do something stupid.

But really though. The rise of online gaming only reinforces the notion of gamers being in a basement all by themselves but now they have headsets (expensive headsets dammit!) To communicate to others in the outside world with. I get video games are a digital realm but I appreciate the human element of gaming as well.

There was nothing in the world like 4 people playing Super Smash Brothers in the same room growing up. Or even Halo marathons with your friends on weekends in the same room for team matches.

I miss that stuff. I'm not a fan of all this online gaming stuff. I know there is a huge market for it obviously but it doesn't appeal to me at all.

All BB deals can be had in-store unless it says "online only". If it doesn`t ring up automatically just have them pm it. The last time they did this deal it was in-store too.

I feel you guys with the couch-coop a new timesplitters game & a good 007 multiplayer would be amazing. 4 player split screen combined with online.
