CAGiversary!
So was just playing GTA III on my phone and went straight to MSX FM like I always do and wondered what peoples favourite stations were across the franchise, songs, radio ads etc.
My go to station on III was / is MSX FM don't really like drum and bass or anything that much (although I listened a little in school) but I feel it just fits the game well, time period etc and tunes are pretty catchy. One of my most favourites on MSX was Omni Trio - "First Contact"..
Vice City I liked Wildstyle, so many great songs on there, would tune into Radio Espantoso very once in a while because I found many of the songs funny. To be honest I like the music from this game the best, I could generally switch back and forth across all stations and find something I liked. I actually have somewhere the entire soundtracks on cd somewhere I remember having them all on my old computer.
GTA IV was The Journey I liked many of the songs on there, some were so epic in scale and would go really well with driving over the bridges and seeing the huge city in the background.
GTA V was probably one of my least favourites, I didn't really pay much attention to them, unlike all other GTA games the radio stations were a really big part of the game I feel.. Just some odd songs here and there.
Overall the radio chatter, and talk shows, commercials have been solid across all games, love the goofy things people chat about.
No mention of San Andreas because I didn't play it enough..
