Pikmin 3 is a fantastic game for fans of the series and new comers. Its a bit punishing but not too hard. Great local co-op and multiplayer, also supported really well with good DLC at reasonable prices. Sad that it looks like it will struggle to hit 500k globally when past games were million sellers.

Ideally Nintendo should use Pikmin 3 to spear-head a movement of $19.99 Player's Choice Wii U games to make the console more attractive and market it as having "cheaper next-gen" experiences. They could throw in Zombi U, Batman, Scribble, Sonic, etc while they're at it.
