i wonder if they checked them when the people returned them.  IT would be a shame if those are bricked from someone trying that developer bc thing that some tried and it didnt work and it bricked their xbox ones. I think its not covered by warranty from microsoft either

This.  I would never buy a refurbished/repackaged console, not for my own use and not even if I planned to sell/flip it.  What if the potential buyer gets pissed and comes after you?  No thanks.

I'll wait til next Black Friday/Xmas when there are more next gen games available...

There are 2 at a nearby store that are both Day One boxes, but it's clear that both have been opened. No clear Repackage tag on either, but this is at a more ghetto Target. I never asked if they were marked down because of the condition of the boxes. Very suspect.

Yeah, you'll probably find four tuna fish cans inside that Xbox One box.

Damn, was a no go at my local Target. They had at least 8 Xbox Ones and 4 PS4's just sitting on the shelf.

Would you be willing to sell the extra one at the $350 price point plus shipping?

Sorry, but no. Keeping one for a 2nd XB1 and have already sold the additional one to a friend for $425.

Already have One(hurr, hur...), but I'm always aware of what's available. More interested in the clearance motorized toddler riding vehicles right now.

Yep same here they have a corvette one with my sons name on it as soon as it dips below 50%

I think I'd bite at $350 even if it is a repackage.

no luck at 3 Targets here in LA SGV stopped in at Eagle Rock and was told not all stores carry repackaged items so she pointed me in the direction of Pasadena, called both locations and both didn't have any repacked in stock....150 off + an extra 5% with target card is deals all day even when you don't plan on grabbing one. The search continues..

Anyone think calling Target is worth a try?

Also no go at my nearest Target. But I did pick up the Justin Timberlake 20/20 vinyl for 1/2 off( $14.95 )! Now I have an excuse to use my record player!

Oops too late. I just checked if they actually had any repackaged systems in stock.

I talked to one employee at the last target and he knew what I was talking about and said his manager stopped doing that because employees were holding them for themselves. He even said they were marking them 30-40% off so I know he knew about them. Sucks they ruined it for the regular customer

Lol I agree. "Hey friend I got this system at a great price but I'm selling it to you so I can make a profit instead of just hooking you up."

Did you also consider that he saved his friend over $100 (including tax) by giving it to him at that price?  He also took the time and effort to go out and buy the console, and spent gas money and fronted the entirety of the money for his friend's console.  Not too bad of a deal for either side, I say.  I would have gladly jumped on that deal if I were one of his friends, and would have been more than happy, even knowing that he got a little commission for hooking me up with a one of a kind-type deal.

To each his own. I sold one to my friend at cost. I spent gas / time getting myself one, so I don't feel the need to push that on to my friend. I usually don't try to make money off my friends and expect the same in return.

I'm with you. Making profit off of a friend is a kick to the balls.

Sell it at cost and be a good friend.
