Power Up Rewards: $10 Coupon

Starting with the ubiquitous "I looked for this and couldn't find it so..."

I checked my Power Up rewards account and there was an Active Offer of a $10 off coupon with no restrictions. This was without using any points...just a free$10 that showed up one day.  Wish I had more details on the why, and the when.  I know it expires near the end of February.

Not sure if it was just me, or just some accounts...but check your active offers.

I used mine tonight for a free $10 PSN points card.

Nothing for me. Did you recently renew PUR? Cause I know you get a $10 off coupon when you renew or are a new member.

I thought you get a B2G1 coupon when you join? At least that's what I got.

And I don't have this in my account.

Well crap was hoping to get one to apply it toward a Zelda wii u : / but I guess I will continue waiting to see what they say at the press meeting on the 30th
 
Is this some joke. Only the op got this. Are u sure u did not use pur points for this. Anyway, this thread should be lock.
 
OP gotta be trollin'. 

PUR has a reward for 10,000 points that gets you $10 off any gamestop purchase, but it can't be used on gift cards, DLC, and POSA cards. So even if the OP did unknowingly redeem points for that offer, it wouldn't have worked on the PSN card. 

 
Not trollin', but I do wish I had some more info as to why.  It surprised me.  

I am UP for renewal, but haven't yet renewed.  Maybe this is their way of teasing me into the store to renew?   

 
I got the $10 coupon on my account. My card is set to expire in 60 days so it's not based on renewing recently. I've traded in a lot of items recently, got the PS4, reserved a few games and picked one of them up last week.

So, the two that got it are both close to renewal.

 
I can confirm this for me as well. Obviously this is very YMMV, but my membership expires 2/17/14 and I got a $5 off coupon... It expires on, 2/28/14.
 
Holy crap! I got one!

(And my PUR just expired.)

EDIT: Thinking about this, I did redeem a $10 off coupon a few weeks ago, and I haven't used it yet. I wonder if this is the same one? I'll have to compare their bar codes.

Son of a... I actually have one... THIS IS LEGIT PEOPLE! I definitely have not redeemed anything for a while now... So yeah... expires in feb like they said, but I have one o.o... I was just at GS today... I probably could have used that...

Wait a second... by any chance... ok I need to ask... DID YOU HAVE A STORE CLOSE DOWN NEAR YOU? Because I did on the 26th, and I have no idea if the two are related.

None here as well. Maybe we should all complain to Gamestop and get the coupon XD. Perhaps a little incentive for them by saying "most of the members will probably use it to renew their pro membership and will also show loyalty to the customers thus raising sales." $10 is $10 I have to say
