Saw this pop up today in the xbone store buy any digital games worth at least $45 and rec a $20 gift code. Starts today and ends on March 3rd. Buying add-ons don't count towards the $45.

hmm, i could go with this for Strider, maybe Loco-Cycle and a couple of others. Wish I didn't buy the Halo game yet that I've only played 2 minutes of, b/c it would have definitely gone to this..

I would jump on it but all the games I want I got on disc. Titanfall would be the one I would get but it comes out after this ends.

Of course it's $45 and not 40. Was gonna just pick up Ryse. Cheapest game on XBO Marketplace?
I just purchased the Rayman game, so I'm at $40 too.

I think the cheapest is Lococycle at $10. The Halo game and Max game are both $15.

OP: Any way you can get a camera phone shot of the deal?

Well to be fair, Ryse is $39.99 so it probably wouldn't have qualified on its own.

Think Loco Cycle is the cheapest X1 game at $9.99.

Nice deal. Will Planets vs Zombies Garden Warfare be available digitally next week when it releases? I'll definitely take advantage of this deal if I can get Strider and Planets vs Zombies for $35.

That is pretty funny and slightly sad. My offer was for $5. I'd totally do the $45 and get $20 by Friday but the $5 offer isn't worth it for me.

Hmmm...

I hope I have the $20 deal waiting for me

I already planned on getting Strider and Peggle 2. But that only equals $27... Would need to drop $20 more and I would only do that if I had the $20 deal haha.

Not sure what I could get for $20 though. I wouldn't mind Powerstar Golf or Crimson Dragon except that they both were just recently on sale..

Thoughts?

Not really enough options for me to take advantage of this, but I do like the activity of sales and promos thus far. Hope MS continues this in the future when there is a lot more to pick from

Another 'experiment' to see what kind of digital pricing produces the most profit.  Weird that they'd need to test this. It's like they have whole new people working instead of the ones that already did this on the 360 marketplace and the GfWL marketplace, where they've dipped their toe a couple of times.

Also, Steam. Humble. Even Origin.

"Exclusive offer for you" Spend $45 and get a $5 Gift code back......FU Microsoft......

Freaking sucks, since I have $60 Credit I would have gotten Dead Rising 3 Season pass then maybe Rayman Legends.

It probably like the amazon emailed offers sometime where each offer is tied to that specific account so if you didn't get the offer directly to your Xbox tabs I would assume you will probably not be eligible and will get no gift card back so in the thread title I would put ymmv and that gift code value will varies cause this look like a targeted offer to select users

$15 here as well.
Ditto that - wonder if it's tied to Gamerscore or how long we've owned our Xbones?

Figuring Rayman Legends and Peggle 2, but will hold out to see if any other titles get a Ryse-like digital drop.

Strider is also an option with Peggle 2, and maybe that Golf game? Probably wouldn't add up to $45.. guess I'll have to do some.. uh oh.. math.

Or maybe how much you've purchased digitally already? I bought DR3 day one digitally since I had so much MS credit (and obviously have had my X1 since day 1 as well). I'll have to see what offer I have. If it works on P vs. Z and I have the $15 or $20 one I might consider it.

Edit: Yeah, see nothing on mine. Where is it? I guess this is like the Best Buy free RZ certs - if you never shop there you get them but if you are a regular customer you get nothing ;). Though I'm hardly a "regular" X1 user. I've played Ryse and that's it (though like I said I bought DR3 digitally - for my son).

(And FWIW - probably not much - my Gamerscore is pushing 50k)

Maybe, if it's inversely proportionate. I haven't bought anything digitally and the offer is $15. My GS is near 70,000, though.

I'd guess it's a combination of both of that plus randomness. I didn't get an offer for this at all and have bought KI Ultimate Edition and Peggle, but no other Xbox One games digitally. I've had the console since release and have a 60k Gamerscore.

I was going to bite on Ryse with this deal too. Maybe they are still rolling them out?

So far that is two of us who bought "full" games and didn't get the offer. Did any of you $15 and $20 people buy anything digitally on the X1?

I also went on to my son's account and he's bought nothing and had no offer either. But since his is a child account he might not get it anyway. I also think his gold has lapsed since he doesn't need it on the X1 (as far as I know - he hasn't been playing multiplayer at all but might try the TItanfall demo today).

So that's 3. If this is really the case that irks me. I understand the business side of this (offer the discount to people who haven't bought digitally to entice them to do so). But there is also the PR side - they should know in the current social media sharing info climate that people who are "loyal" digital customers will get wind of this and be a little upset and maybe even reign in future digital purchases (I know I will).

But we don't know for sure yet - the people who did get the $15 and $20 offers need to chime in on whether they bought anything before or not.

I haven't made a single online Xbox one purchase, Gold member for 4 years and 75000GS. $10 offer.

I would be disappointed but there really aren't any digital purchases I'm interested in.

For what it's worth I haven't bought anything digitally on the Xbox One yet except a name change, also have $60 in credit on my account so maybe they figured I don't deserve to get more.  :whistle2:#

I got the $10 offer.

Been a member since the launch original Xbox. Lame

I planned on picking up Rayman Legends at BB with GCU but since I was already picking up Strider tomorrow I might as well just buy it digitally for essentially the same price. I do really like being able to just say the game and have it play haha

Gold for 8 years or something like that.  Over 170k gamerscore.  Had my X1 since early December.  Haven't bought a single thing digitally on X1.  Got $5 offer.

Have Lego Marvel, Crimson Dragon, Halo SA, Powerstar Golf, Max, Peggle 2, and Killer Instinct digital, have about 76000 gamerscore but no coupon (not that there's much left to grab, but would have considered PvZ or Rayman and Strider if I had the offer)
