You must be on a 2-Game Plan or above in order to rent DVD or Blu-ray movies.

As good as their shipping is and if the situation were reversed, Netflix would wipe the floor with Gamefly. I remember Netflix mentioned adding games a few years back, but nothing came of it. They clearly have the money, considering all of these Netflix Original shows they're putting out.

Not a fan of Gamefly..when they first started they had a habit of repeatedly pretending that they didn't receive the game back, and wouldn't send out a new game for two weeks.  They then claimed the game was lost or stolen, but didn't charge me for it, they just sent me my next game.  Just a scam to burn two weeks of my subscription time.  This happened 3-4 times.  If the game was actually getting lost 50% of the time, I think they would have been more concerned or would have stopped renting to me.  But since they never charged me for it and just made me wait an extra two weeks for my next game, I can't believe the games were lost.

Maybe they've gotten better about these things since then, but I'm already soured to their business.

nope they have not.

I think you can have a decent experience with Gamefly as long as you live close to a distribution center. I live close to the Seattle center and receive games as soon as 2 days after shipping one out. With that said, I have had issues with nonworking games being sent to me. It's happened twice in the last month.

Being surrounded by Redbox's, I surely won't be using this new functionality.
