Game Informer subscription

I haven't been able to find a sale similar to a few years ago when it was really cheap. If anyone could help it would be appreciated. I would be all for another video game magazine but it has to be cheap since it's primarily bathroom reading material.

GameStop will sell single copies of the magazine in their store for full cover price, but as far as subscriptions go, I think you have to sign up and pay for Power Up Rewards ($14.99 / year).  I've seen them offer renewals as coupons to use your points to renew your subscription, so if you can find somebody that has redeemed points for a coupon you might be able to get a little better than $15.

A lot of the paper magazines have either gone bankrupt or turned to digital.  Amazon runs promotions for magazines all the time for $5/year (stuff like OXM, PC Gamer).

If you look inside an issue of GI, there should be a subscription card for the standalone subscription that isn't tied to the PUR subscription.

Last I remember, it was $24 for 24 issues, which is 2 years' worth.

I'm not seeing it in my last two issues. Only the GameStop PUR $15 one. I really should have gotten way more years on the subscription when it was only $5-$6 for a year...

Worst thing is to call them and see if they're still offering the non-PUR subscription options any longer.
