son of a gun i just traded in dead rising a day ago for 30 creds think theres any way i can somehow get the 45 cred since i didnt use the gift card yet?

 
figure as much as a side note though call of duty is 39.99 new on at gamestop sooo it should be 34.99 used with the birthday coupon and poweruprewards member should come out to  24.49 +tax trade in at best buy profit?

But something tells me based on how the promotion is set up this might be sponsored by MS directly... so in essence they are paying people to play Titanfall.

 
Darn, the only games I would want to trade are Ryse and AC4, but one is a Day One version and the other's a steelbook so I don't really want to let either go. Eh, I'm sure Titanfall will price drop by 50% by the summertime anyways. Great deal though.

I can get a new version of Ghost at GS for $20 after a GC I have and a $10 off coupon. I can than just trade that straight in to Best Buy for the 100% bonus. Only worry I have is I would have to do everything in one transaction at BB since I still need to renew my GCU with the $30 coupon. I know my luck and the lack of smarts of the staff at my BB this will never stack right for the correct total.
 
so is it any x1 title or select.  i have forza and cod, i would perfer to let cod go, i dont play it anymore

not bad at all. May unload Ryse, and Madden. Most you'll ever get for them for sure!

 
Thank you caseX. Do I have to be a gamer club member to trade in games? Never done it before? Do I just go to customer service?

You don't have to be a member, but you might as well sign up for the free version of gamer club (can be done online before you go to the store, I think). You earn points on trades and if you do enough, they send you rewardzone certificates which are like gift cards.

I believe yes, you do just go to customer service, unless it's different at your store. Used to be a dedicated video game register, but they got rid of all those at my stores.

GCU value should be: $47.50.

Also the list would include fighter within, Forza and others....look above.
 
Read the fine print guys. You don't have to get Titanfall or anything. These are the bonuses with the 100% going on right now. GCU members would get $47.25.

 
so if I trade in Ghosts and AC4 it's $45 for each? Can I use the trade-in value towards XB Live points cards?

hopefully this doesn't spike the sales of it too much to get a sequel.

Was going to go to Gamestop and get a copy of Ghosts for $20 out of pocket to trade-in. But than figured once I drive to Best Buy today to pre-order TF to get the $10 reward cert and than tomorrow than to pick it up was it really worth it. I ended up just pre-ordering at GS to get the extra 30% on some crap I traded in will end up costing me now around $30 out of pocket and save me the gas on two more trips to Best Buy.

Alright, I'm confused.

So I preordered Titanfall for in-store pickup. I'm GCU so essentially I already paid 47+tax for the game. So how can I use this 45 dollars towards Titanfall? Am I missing something?

I understand this doesn't have to be used directly towards Titanfall as it's just a Giftcard and can be used towards anything... BUT! I'd like the use the GC towards Titanfall to at least eat up some of the costs.

my guess is the only way to do this is to go in today, Trade in my copy of Forza for 47.50. Take that giftcard home, pre-order another copy of Titanfall so I can get the $10 GC promo for preordering and cancel my original preorder. Would this be the only way? My guess is yes.

If I pre order Titanfall with in-store pickup to get the $10 bonus credit, when I go to pick it up, can I pay with a different payment method than I list when I create the order? I want to use the $45 GC I will get when trading in the Fighter Within tomorrow.

Doesn't matter if Fighter Within is on the list or not. If you go to Best Buys online trade in website, you can see base value for Fighter Within is 22.50. So 100% bonus would make it 45 plus your GCU add on percentage.

Is there a link anywhere to verify Best Buy is in face running the 100% bonus for trade ins. I'm about to go price match fighter within right now and take it to another store later tonight....

 
Anyone know if you can preorder multiple copies of the same game?  I was going to use my GCU and my brothers copy of Ryse to preorder Titanfall.

Also, anyone have issues, in store, of the Titanfall preorder not being $47.99?  When I tried to preorder it in game they couldn't get it under $64.

did you try preordering in store or online? And $5 down or pay in full?
Edit: and Yes you can preorder more then one copy up to three BUT only 1 of them will receive the $10 preorder bonus

People, this isn't a select list. This is just the regular values including the 100% boost.

So if you see a game on their trade in site listed $22.50 then you'll get $45 for it.

Yes about a dozen One games got boosted from $18 to $22.50 for this.

Bigger picture is 100% bonus is going on!

I do feel a little dirty as I rolled some BBY credit after PMing Couple games.

Thank you! I tried preordering in store and paying it in full. Even with trying to put $5 down it was still ringing up at full price. I did it in 5 seconds online and paid in full.
