Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Game Review for Wii U

As much as I can appreciate your more candid view on the game's (potential) shortcomings, the fact that you miss out on mentioning one of the greatest features of the game is disappointing.  That would be the soundtrack, composed by Mr. Wise himself, really is one of the best I've heard in a long time (and this is just strictly from Youtube for now).  That should bump up your review score a whole point in my opinion.

I can't wait to play the game myself, though it is hard to believe that only after one game in the series Retro Studios ran out of good ideas on level design, because DKCR was near perfect in that regard.

Have you ever done the Time Attack from DKCR?  Even seemingly out of place enemies become absolutely crucial for a smooth run on the levels, and that isn't by accident.  I gather some of the same complaints you had in TF are more than likely there due to TA, which they put even more attention to in this game.

I guess I'll have to see for myself, thanks for write up either way!
