Great price.  I recall the GOTY for the first game hit $19.99 several months after it came out as well.

Now the real question is if there will be a retail release with the Headhunter Packs as well as the Ultimate 2 dlc.

Amazon ran out of stock for the PS3 version that ships immediately. Now takes 1 to 3 weeks to ship; still pulled the trigger since I'm in no rush. Thanks OP!

 
Buy for $20, install and trade back in for $13. $7 for dlc (I already some but not all). I know this doesn't have all but still.

This will work right? You can install the dlc from disc 2 to use on digital version of borderlands 2? Does it add as codes/or just for that system? Never done this on ps3. Thanks alot for any info.

Azaria I believe this is missing the headhunter packs and 2nd level upgrade pack. I believe it includes creature dome, 3 main dlcs and 2 characters and 1st level upgrade.

Bah would be a decent way to get the DLC for those who have on ps+ already. 

If shipping wasnt 3 weeks out. buy and lock in the trade, 6 bucks give or take for the DLC.

Course even better option is to buy it used fron gamestop and return it after getting the DLC.

If you have no scruples and lots of free time, that's an excellent option.

I've let a few friends borrow the DLC disc, it works fine. It just pops up a screen that has all the DLC listed. Highlight and install, user doesn't matter. It has the 4 main DLC's, 1st Ultimate Vault Hunter upgrade, Kreig and Mechro characters, Creature Slaughter Dome, CE heads and skins pack.

It's missing Vault Hunter upgrade 2 (digistruct peak), the 5 HH packs, and the heads/skins sold by themselves.

I dont think theyll release another version of this. Still, this is more than an awesome deal for $20.

 
this + the sale on xbl makes this a pure win for bl2 fans... perfect timing and combination - spend another $25-30 on xbl and get all available dlc.

Played the hell out of this on 360 but have been waiting for a big sale to get it on PS3 to play with a different friend.  This was perfect, we both picked it up.  Backordered a few weeks but whatever.

the biggest dlc not thrown is is Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode 2. it lets you earn 11 more levels and a optional 8 Overpowered levels via its arena. The over powered levels make enemies drop better gear but the enemies become tougher.

 
sure this has been asked but im in a hurry before i gotta run to sees for some candy for baskets. Does the 360 version have the DLC on a seperate disk like the original version had? Or is it a crappy code? I remember the original had 2 versions for some reason. one with codes one with it on disk

The website said my nearest store didn't have any, but I distinctly recalled seeing a copy or two...

Was able to price match the last copy, and used my $5 reward certificate, so I got it for $15 out of pocket. : D

Sounds great! Is showing them the price on a mobile device the only way to do so? When I search up the game on Amazon on my smartphone it only shows me the $46.81 option and not the $19.99 one.

 
How much is the dlc on it own worth that with this? Cause I bought the vanilla version for $3 couple months ago so trying to figure if it worth it

Probably $45 if it's not on sale. Maybe double that. I think each character is $5 or 10...and each portion of the season pass is $10 or $30 if you get it bundled.

 
Does Wal Mart price match Amazon? Seems to be only place in town that still has it in stock. If not Ill order and wait for it through Amazon.
