So was driving home from work and what do you know at the intersection on the highway where I turn around to go back towards my drive way was a perfect condition box sealed and everything. So while waiting for traffic to clear I become nosy and look at the label it's to a restaurant I frequent. So my question is should I turn it into ups or the dining establishment.

I figured I'd just go eat lunch there and hand it over to the manager. However, I was curious if UPS offered some kind of reward. Heck even a free month of ups' subscription service would be nice so I can pick when to have my junk delivered. I can't find anything on the web. But, it would make sense though since it saves them money from the insurance claim.

Ha ! Good luck on that. You'll be lucky enough if you get a thank you.
Lol figured as much. Kinda toyed with the idea of donating it to goodwill or Salvation Army since restaurant will get a new ones via insurance. But figured eh do a good deed and get achievement unlocked. "Delivery Man" worth 5 points lol.

I am most impressed no CAG suggested opening the package to see if it is worth keeping.

I'm not going to lie if it was the size of one of those new 4k 65" + tvs I might just have to open it lol.

Or you could just return it to the restaurant and do the right thing.
Yeah I already did that lol. It did lead me to another question though how the heck did it fall out of a truck? It's not like the back door was open if it was there would be many more packages.

I'd be wary of opening up a random UPS package found on the side of the road.  I'd just hand it over to the restaurant, explain how you came into possession of it and let them tear UPS a new one.

yeah normally in large cities or odd locations i would too. but this thing was in mint condition and face up right by my car I was bored lol. It really looked like someone set it there with the name facing up so the world could see.

lol nah dude was probably worse than what the ups guys would of been. he just said "thanks" didn't smile didn't shake my hand didn't didn't even give me a drink for free. heck i even offer them to the ups/fedex/mailmen when they knock on the door to give me the package. it's a .50 can of pop even less for the restaurant since its syrup and water.

Either way I don't mind. But, I did my good deed this week so I can get whatever deal I want right? I need another deal for Xbox1 like newegg had system and 2 games for $450 lol.

Huh, interesting that the shop owner didn't even give you a free drink or smile.

What a spoil sport, it's nice to feel apprecaited when you do the right thing.

But it's good that you did the right thing regardless some people are just ungrateful I guess.
