So, my brother wants to trade his PS4 for an X1. I did the same thing about a week ago. He's offered to let me do it since I'm a PUR member.
How long should I wait before attempting to trade for him? Don't want to get flagged.
Just go to a different store. You won't get flagged for 2 in a week.

Is the PS4 still getting $397.50 if traded for another PS4? Finally have a fee minutes to stop by GameStop today if it is!
And what do you need to includebwhen trading in a console to get full credit?
Console
HDMI
Controller charge cable
Power cable

Has anybody tried using the triple/quadruple coupon glitch between more than 1 PUR account before? I redeemed 4 coupons recently (from the same PUR account) so I have 3 left but I was thinking about redeeming my points for another $50 coupon from another PUR account. If the glitch only considers the highest coupon value (and not the same PUR account), then theoretically I'll still have the same 3 that I started the day with left.
interesting theory. I thought people had said that they could use the coupons that remained (implying the same account) so that might indicate you could do it again on another account. Of course, that presumes the coupons are necessarily tied to the account that you claimed the coupons from.

Using coupons between accounts doesn't matter. You'll be able to use them with your other account. I've done it with my account and my brother's.

Through four or five months of finding this site, I've purchased a PS4 and a Wii U Mario Kart Bundle for roughly $300 out of pocket and still have $235 in GS credit.
You guys are awesome and thought I'd just share my appreciation.

Well, if you're buying a console anyway...buy it at Best Buy, then trade it in at GameStop.

I have done this every time that I have used the glitch and it has worked. I pretty much use all of my PUR accounts equally so the coupons get spread out. It's always worked fine and the lower 3 coupons always remain.

easy, it's automatic. All you have to do is claim each of the $50/$25/$10/$5 off coupons (one of each) from your PUR account and then get your GS guy to scan all of them. This may be a given but the item(s) you buy should exceed the total of your coupons, in this case, $90.
When you go back into your account that you claim it from, it should have only removed the $50 from your active offers in your PUR account. Your $25/$10/$5 should still remain. You can keep doing this until all of the coupons are claimed. Each time, only the highest value one will have been claimed.
I think the hardest thing will be to convince your GS employee to scan multiple coupons for one transaction.

Ah. Got it. Thank you. Does it work, if you purchase only the $25/$10/$5? Or does the $50 need to be there?

yes, you can do any amount but don't double up the same denomination. They all have to be different in order for it to work as described. The computer won't allow duplicates.

I just learned about this too, but judging from his post, it doesn't matter what coupons you use, the register will always use the highest value coupon ($50, $10, $5, would work and the system will take $50, same with $25, $10, $5)Ah. correct, I'll probably use this method (would be my first time) when the Destiny PS4 bundle comes out in Sept. Have about 250k points burning a hole in my virtual pocket. Haven't seen a decent 100k prize since the PO Vita a year or two back.

Best Buy trades are not convenient for anyone. The staff there, for some odd reason, look at me with a deer in the headlights stare when I mention the extra 10% bonus for GCU. They also get flustered doing game trade ins despite the fact that they have to do them (regularly with me anyway). I can't remember the last time I actually got my extra 10% TIV bonus simply because they always say they can't figure out how it works and after standing there 20 minutes, I'm not standing another 20 for $2. Then I have to go to the forums and get them reimbursed which means I gotta upload the receipt and then get told they should know how to do this and yadda yadda yadda.
It's never been an easy or short experience.
That said I'm thinking about dumping CoD Ghosts, it's getting $20 for the ps4 version. Can I trade it towards say Destiny, get $28, then go back a couple hours later and change the preorder and still get my $28 credit?

Thanks for confirming, guys. I can now maximize my points further by redeeming my points off my other account then. This works out great because I'm tired of cashiers spazzing out looking at my points balance whenever they scan my PRO card.
What this also means is that technically we cags can buy coupons from other members to maximize theirs as well. For example, if I only had enough to get $40 worth of coupons, I'd be better off paying off another cag for his $50 coupon. By doing this, I would essentially get a bonus $25 of goods since the $25 coupon would have expired anyway had I not redeemed the $50 one. Of course, you'd need to plan for a big purchase worth $90 to use all 4 properly. Too bad I didn't notice this when the gift card mall items were eligible goods for coupon use.

I was more referring to the location of the ones that take trade-ins in my area, but your point is certainly valid. I can go to my local Gamestop and get good and fast service with minimal hassle almost every time. I know there are plenty who rag on Gamestop with valid reasons, but Gamestop is hard to beat for trading stuff in. I just wish their pricing was more competitive with Best Buy, etc. I guess you can't have it all, though.

If you have GCU, Dark Souls 2 might be a good credit mover. Almost breaks even if it's still $24 base.

Nice, that's perfect. Just need to have it shipped to store, but I can trade mine in while I'm waiting. Gets me a case I can use, I don't want to keep using the metal case from the Black Armor edition.

PM me if you're interested in doing an even swap on Gamestop for Best Buy credit. My only issue is that my credit is all in trade credit on my PUR card, so i'm not sure if I can buy a Gamestop gift card with that. I know I can buy other gift cards with it, so I assume Gamestop GC would work too.
