Target Ad 5/4-5/10

It also says reserve your new Skylanders and pictures Trap Shadow and Scratch, which have been out for a while. The only Skylander that isn't out, yet (except for a couple of variants) is Doom Stone. But if you only shop Target, I guess Trap Shadow and Scratch may be new to you as their selection is particularly horrible.

Great, even when there are ads with no deals we still get skylanders shoved in our face..

It says "reserve THE new Skylanders", as in the game. There are reservation cards at Target for the new game and you get a $10 gift card if you pick it up. The fact that it's next to a picture of a current Skylander is unrelated.

I was reading an article about the new Skylanders game coming out in the fall. You'll be able to play as Kaos for the first time ever (lol)...once you capture him that is (pokemon?)

Gonna stock up on BB Cream. Lol
When I hear/see "BB" I instantly think of these wonderful things:

But it's poorly executed. By having "Reserve the new Skylanders" actually attached to Trap Shadow, it looks like it is saying that Trap Shadow is a new Skylander that you can reserve. If they wanted to promote their pre-order of the new Skylanders game, then they shouldn't have the bar with the wording attached to Trap Shadow. Instead, they should have had a separate box next to it (or even inset into that part of the ad) that said, "New Skylanders game coming in October! Reserve yours today" or something similar.

I'm starting to get back into Skylanders so this is good, but everytime my Target gets a Skylanders sale all of the new/popular skylanders get taken and all that's left are the ones nobody wants.

I literally have no interest in Skylanders, yet another pointless target ad for me
agreed. I use to play magic the gathering. same idea total waste of money lol. Least skylanders are slightly cheaper I suppose. since they aren't constantly going in and out of "legal" play.

Does anyone know if this also counts adventure packs or packs with multiple skylanders?

The new skylander games inevitably get down to 39.99 over BF which is the price I am willing to pay for a starter set with an inflated price, especially since you have to buy more figures to get all the content in the game. My point, its not worth preordering a skylanders game... since it will be significantly cheaper down the road.

In the Beauty section. There's a $5 off $20+ coupon that stacks with other Target coupons, manufacturer coupons, cartwheel, and gift card offers.
Is there anything good on Cartwheel for this right now? I could use some shampoo and body wash. I just don't want to try to open Cartwheel for half an hour to find nothing.

It is especially not worth it right now, before any pre-order bonuses come out. This is retailers trying to pick up the low hanging fruit, the parents and excited kids that will pre-order then not keep up with what other stores do. They will move to trying to entice the rest of us later on.

Nothing on Cartwheel at all really. Most of the deals are for "girl stuff" but $5 off $20 isn't anything to shake a stick at.

I made bank with the mobile version of this deal because that went live late last week. I stacked manufacturer coupons on top of Target coupons on top of the beauty coupon on top of a gift card deal. I got 3 St. Ives Scrubs and two Revlon mascaras for $3.50 PLUS I got a $5 gift card, so it ended up being a moneymaker for me. Used that $5 gift card on the next set of beauty products. Didn't do as well, but I got nail files, a nail clipper, 3 more St. Ives, and a few hair treatments for $12.xx + another $5 gift card for next time.

This was a great ad for me before it even went live. :)
