I recently started playing Rune Factory 4 on my 3DS and have to admit that I've really been enjoying the game thus far, so much so that I decided it would be a great idea to buy the predecessors. After checking the major retailers, it seems that most stores either no longer carry new versions or if they do they tend to be around $19+ (Mostly by third party sellers). I was about to give up trying to find new copies at a decent price when I stumbled across the $14.36-$14.71 price point at Walmart. I usually don't check Walmart so it was a pleasant surprise to find them so cheap when they don't seem to be available at many of the retailers I usually shop at. I also did a quick search to see if anyone has posted about this previously but didn't find anything, Walmart may have had these games at this price for a while but I figured I'd post anyways in case anyone just recently started playing the series like myself and was looking into buying any of the older Rune Factory's in new condition.

That's actually a good price for the PS3 version with free site to store. Lowest I've seen the game is $20. Before that price drop the EU 'Oceans' version was actually cheaper at $20 vs $30.

Newegg doesn't carry it anymore and Best Buy has it for $35 used. Amazon (3rd party only) still has it at $20, not seeing any sold by Amazon LLC. Gamestop has it at $30 download or $30 USED, $40 New if that still even exists.

I recommend buying it at just under $15 new now, not many chances or places left to find it new, and the used prices are disgusting, even on ebay.

and the ps3 game seems to be sold out :(
Wow that was fairly quick... There is always the chance your local store may have it, wouldn't hurt to swing by or call if you are interested in getting it at this price.

Bought Rune Factory 4 at launch for a 5$ off with Newegg. I have not regretted buying it since. Great game, but they are selling out almost everywhere because they have not made enough copies to go around and the only places I can find them new is at ebay at around 40-45$.

I bought my copy of RF4 at Best Buy for $34.23 after Taxes (I have GCU). If you have GCU, Best Buy is probably the best place to currently buy Rune Factory 4. I think they've made a pretty large second run because I've noticed most major retailers getting RF4 back in stock for $39.99.

I remember finding a mint complete copy of RF3 for $15 at GS back when it was fetching $70+ then it got reprinted lol
Cheapest I've found RF3 for is $19.99 at GameStop. Looks like I'll have to bite at that price since I prefer buying new.

If you buy games just in the hopes it will become rare then you're doin it wrong.

What one out of a 100 times you think a game will be rare it is then what? Double your money and make 40 bucks after a year or more? People who buy games as investments are generally fools. They waste more money and time trying to make money than they earn.

Quick bump since RF3 and Tides of Destiny are back in stock. Anyone who is looking to complete their collection now is your chance as all games are currently in stock online.

I could have sworn they made one of these for Vita. Or am I thinking of PSP? I see there's a PS3 version. Might get that for trophy whoring.

I'm tempted to buy them all again just so I have sealed copies.

Great series, shame Neverland Co. closed.

They also have two of the Harvest Moon Wii games and Three or four Harvest Moon DS games for $14 and under. I bought six different ones and only cost about $82

Number 3 is oos again. Oh well, at least I got number 2. Thanks op.
I would just keep an eye out the next few days, these have been going in and out of stock a few times already. Ate other alternative is to visit any local stores if you have any around you, as they may have the game behind the display.
