Blank Japanese Gamecube Game Cases

anotherpoorgamer

CAGiversary!
Does anyone know where I can get blank Japanese Gamecube cases?  I don't need the cardboard slip covers, just the clear cases.  Also, anyone know any good online stores that sell them?

I want to try and save some space in my room.  I've been juggling the idea putting all my full size disc based games into smaller/slim boxes.  Then keeping the original boxes stacked on top of each other in a corner of a closet.

I thought about switching out all my Gamecube games into the smaller clear cases that the Gameboy Player startup disc came in.  I know that Japan had completely different Gamecube cases, then the rest of the world.

Figured Amazon would have had some, advertised as mini DVD cases.  My search there has only revealed slim/jewel cases.

I thought about mini-CD/DVD slim cases, they seem less durable though.  PSP cases would work for my space situation, but Gamecube games don't fit into PSP cases.  Don't really want to take the time trying to get them to fit by cutting into extra PSP cases with a tool.

Thanks ahead.

Link didn't directly work.  So I google searched the website.

Thank you, I have never seen anything like those during the Gamecube generation, least not in my area of the USA.  Says they are rare.

I wouldn't mind having those if they were common.  Do you know if you can swap out the artwork on those bubble gum cases?

Figured the clear Japanese Gamecube cases would have been easier to find blanks.  Might end up just putting them in mini cd slim cases.

The artwork is in the form of a label glued to the case. There is no plastic lining like jn the traditional full size cases. Could also print some in the form of a label or use regular paper with elmer's glue.

Height is shorter than the GBP case maybe I could upload a pic later for comparison.

Oh cool, I didn't realize the cases were smaller than the Gamecube Player disc's case.  I totally would grab a bunch of these if they were available in my area.

Couldn't even find any on Amazon or Ebay.  Maybe I'm not using the right search words.

A pic would be nice.  The website you linked doesn't do it justice.  A ruler that I can barely see that is.

In that case here is the pic with the Gameboy Player disk case next to it:

The grocery store where I bought my two from only stocked these on one checkout lane so the supply was limited to begin with.

Yeah, I figured at the time Nintendo would have sold these cases on their online store for North America.  Honestly, I would have liked those bubble gum cases even more if they had a place to insert a game's cover art.

In the end, I might just get slim mini CD jewel cases.  Those seem to be easier to find.  If space becomes a bigger issue, might just put my Gamecube games' original cases stacked on top of each other in a closet or something.
