Barely. If your a fan of the series I'd suggest it, the over the top cutscenes are the main reason I keep coming back to the series.

Though this game butchered the living sin out of basically every single major scene that takes place near the end of the game. Also the online is broken as ever.

 
This is a good deal because it comes with the $10 expansion and all the DLC costumes, and if you're new to the fighting game series, it'll get you ready for the next game which releases in September this year.

If I didn't have the standard edition I bought around release as well as the $10 expansion, I'd be in for 1.

A warning to fans of the original Ultimate Ninja series for PS2 and Ninja Storm 1/2, despite the bigger roster. the prettier story mode and good boss battles(though I prefer the boss battles of UNS2 the most). several mechanics were fucked with in Generations/this release that I didn't exactly appreciate (removal of a combo string, sub bar, instant Awakenings, etc.). On top of which, I didn't like that the route they went with the DLC ($10 for one character that was probably cut due to time constraints, is a bit much, as well as the billion cosmetic DLCs), so there's that.
