Eligibility: Contest is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States, District of Columbia or Canada (excluding Quebec) who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry (or over the age of majority in entrant's state or province of residence). Directors, officers and employees of Sponsor, the Entertainment Software Association (“ESA”) and any of its respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, and advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each, are not eligible to win any prizes.
Contest Period: The entry period for the Contest (“Entry Period”) begins on Thursday, May 22 at 10:00 am and ends on Tuesday, May 27 at 10:00 am (all times in these Official Rules are Pacific Time). All entries must be received by Sponsor during the Entry Period.
How to Enter: Limit one entry per person. To enter, you must first be logged in as a registered user of Instagram. (If you are not a registered Instagram user, you can register for free at www.instagram.com.) While you are logged in to your Instagram user account, you must do the following:
- Upload a video file you have created that explains why you deserve a chance to play Super Smash Bros. for Wii U against one of the winners of the Super Smash Bros. Invitational Tournament at E3 2014 (the “Tournament”) according to the General Guidelines and Video Guidelines below.
- Use the following caption for your video “My name is and this is my submission for the Super Smash Bros. People’s Challenger Contest. #SmashChallengerApproaching #NintendoContestEntry.” You may add additional hashtags or tags after this language, but the provided caption and hashtags must appear at the start of your caption.
